The Marino Cottage is the perfect place for a real 'family' vacation. This is one of those rare homes that when it says it sleeps 14, it really does in 6 bedrooms. The master suite has a great layout with a private bath and jacuzzi. The 2nd master upstairs has it's own private bath and a room that could sleep Mom, Dad and four kids comfortable. The other bedrooms are a mixture of beds able to accommodate just about any family. There is the very large great room, two dining room tables each seating 10, a breakfast bar, two refrigerators and an ice machine. One of the best things about Marino is not only being able to play together, talk and have fun as a group but also the private areas that allow you to get away from the group to read or just quiet time in the loft, the sun porch or the glassed in sitting room off of the master suite. There is plenty of parking including a closed garage. This was our sixth year at the Marino Cottage, normally taking two weeks each year and luckily, with different parts of our family, we are taking 3 weeks in 2009. We have a really great family: parents, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, on and on and the Marino Cottage has allowed us to enjoy being together without any hassles. There were only 5 of us, 4 adults and a child. Each of us had privacy and a bath. Thru no fault of ours a toilet we were not using sprung a leak and flooded the upstairs hall and downstairs living room and kitchen. Repairman came quickly and cleaned up the mess with a good attitude. Said an extractor would come out to do the carpet, but no one came so we assumed it was because it was Labor Day. We look forward to returning this coming year.
