Loved staying in this area. Made day trips very easy in either direction. House we stayed in was nice. Liked the way it was laid out. Had a great week. Overall stay was fantastic. Only negative I had was Tv's and electronics needed to be updated.

The house was clean and inviting. We had a wonderful time. Close to the beach and Duck restaurants and shops. Beach chairs and all types of recreation provided. Just big enough to be roomy, but cozy. Enjoyed the local wildlife including turtle pond. Lots of books, puzzles and tv's. It was really worth the money. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great vacation

My three friends and I took a weekend away from hubbies and kids to relax together. This place was great! We played sand volleyball in the backyard, walked across the street to the beach, and were even close to Starbucks! We also took advantage of the black top bike/jogging trail just in front of the house that goes on for miles.
We drove north to Duck to eat at Sunset Grille one night (beautiful views and good food) and drove south to Nags Head to eat and dance at Kelly's. We loved that the Southern Shores location was easy access to both places.
This house is kept up well, clean, has great decks, and is a great place to stay! And for four women, we loved the two showers, several large mirrors, and 3 bathrooms.
I would stay here again - I'd even bring my hubby and three kids here. It's great for friends or families.
The only thing I wish we would have done was get in the hot tub!

Renting the "Sea Spirit" was one of the best decisions our family has ever made. My husband and I have 3 kids, two boys 22 and 20 and a daughter that just turned 17. The boys live in Kentucky while the rest of us live in West Virginia, so this was a great getaway for all of us to join together and have the best time. There was more than enough room for the whole family and a couple of close friends to stay without being "on top of each other". The amenities were excellent and exceeded what was expected, with a fully equipped and beyond kitchen with anything and everything you could possible need to cook with. The house offered comfortable living and recreation to relax with horseshoes and volleyball court in backyard. We made the most of what the house gave to us, reading books, watching tv, playing games, relaxing in the hottub, watching the sunrise or sunset off one of the many decks, or just a short walk to get sand in your toes on the beautiful beach. The beach in this area is wonderful, not crowded but not desolate either. It was just right! We fully expect to come back and rent this house time and time again because of all it had to offer us with it's conveniences! Thanks so much to the owners of the house and Southern Shores for one of the best vacations the Casto/Priddy family has ever had!!

Again this year we have spent a week at Sea Spirit, it became a tradition for our family. Two of my sisters and one of my brother enjoyed it too.
We end a tourism trip around the US Capital with a week of quiet rest at that house.
The kitchen is well equip so each day we can enjoy a feast for a reasonable price.
There is plenty of attraction nearby. But the place is quiet and I love that.

We stayed in the house for a week. we enjoyed out time at the beach. The home was very clean and homey. the only issue i had with the house was the air on the middle floor the air conditioner was not up to pair. the house was fully equiped with everything that you may need. it is just a short walk to the beach it does become a little difficult to cross the road to the beach because of alot of traffice and cars not slowing down to let you cross. the beach is beautiful and very clean. i would recommend this home to anyone. There is alot to see and good place to eat just a short distance in either direction.

From the photos, we were very excited to stay at this property. However, all 6 of us were disappointed when we actually arrived. The "cottage" was almost a little shabby looking from the outside. Further, I don't know who measured the distance to the beach, but I don't believe it is correct. The beach is across the very busy highway, and the ocean view was almost a joke. Sure, you could see the ocean way off in the distance in between the houses across the street, but it was NOT what you imagine when you hear ocean view. That said, the inside of the house was very spacious and quite comfortable and clean. The sand volleyball court on the outside is chock-full of burrs, though, so be careful! Our children were in tears at times because the burrs would get stuck in their feet. The hot tub was nice, but a pool would have been even nicer. Overall, we won't be staying again- for the money and the amenities, Hilton Head is a much better option.
