THE STAFF AT SOUTHERN SHORES ARE VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. WHENEVER WE HAD A PROBLEM IT WAS RESOLVED IN A TIMELY FASHION.
SETUP WAS GREAT IN THE HOUSE.
WE DIDNT HAVE TO GO VERY FAR FOR ANYTHING THAT WE WANTED TO DO OR SEE.
THE ONLY COMPLAINTS THAT WE HAD WERE THE TOILET IN THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS WOBBLY AND THERE WAS NOT A VCR FOR THE TV.
ALSO THE PRICKLY THINGS YOU GOT ON YOU WHEN YOU MADE THE MISTAKE OF WALKING IN THE YARD!!!
WE REALLY LIKED THE FACT THAT THERE WERE NOT ANY STEPS, THAT REALLY IS IMPORTANT WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH STEPS. -

This is a nice ranch style rental property. It has three bedrooms, two nice family rooms and a nice kitchen. They are dog friendly and my "old" Golden Retriever was right at home with no steps to walk up. The neighborhood was nice and traffic was pretty light making for nice walks, around the block is about 1 mile. The location is really nice and you can really get around most of the traffic snarls.

Overall a nice house. Lots of space especially in the kitchen. very close to beach(a 5 min walk). Needs some updates in the electronics department ie more/bigger tv's better wireless better stereo and update some small appliances(toaster oven not toaster). A nice house to rent for families or to just get away for a bit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seashell. It was perfect because we travel with our dogs, and it had everything needed both for our comfort and their contentedness. Staying at this house reminds me so much of being at my grandparents house....it is like "going back home." If I could change one thing, it would be the TV situation. The reception was poor and the TV very small. I would love to see updated TVs in both the living and master bedroom area. (Right now there is no TV in the main bedroom.) We've stayed twice, though, and would stay again in the future. The best features include the corner location, convenience of the beach and nearness to Duck, well-appointed kitchen, large master bedroom, and the provision of necessities like beach chairs and umbrella. Overall, very pleased!
