The house was clean and comfortable. There's only one thing to tell you. The front door mat should be taken away. We had a few experiences because of it. When I went to go out the front door,the mat slipped and if it wasn't for my husband being by me I would have fallen. Also my Niece slipped on it,and she grabbed the door knob so that she didn't fall. I suggest that you get a new mat,so other people won't get hurt.

This beautiful light-filled property is in the lightly-travelled space between the highway and the ocean road. Well maintained, it made a comfortable place for our multi-generation family to stay.

We loved the location of the house. Everyone could hike themselves down to the beach whenever they wanted. Some folks chilled inside reading, watching TV, etc. Some folks enjoyed sunning on the decks. We all loved the hot tub. We liked being able to get down to the "busy" side of OBX and then coming "home" to hear the ocean. The house was decorated in an inviting manner. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and ready for us as soon as we entered. We were surprised by a gift bag filled with delicious treats from the house owners. Their thoughfulness was appreciated. The neighborhood was wonderful. The beach was perfect for relaxing - family oriented, not crowded, clean and we were able to leave chairs, umbrellas and such while we headed back to the house for lunch. Everyone respected others' property. My nephew built a huge sand castle that eventually eroded through wind and water after three days. It amazed me that no one kicked it over. When we have cold winter days here in WV, I will get out our pictures of our vacation and look forward to the summer again.

We vacationed with another family of 4 and we all had plenty of room. The hot tub was great! It's a quick walk to the beach! The beds were great! The kitchen was fully stocked and plenty of tv's, games and puzzles to keep us all busy when not at the beach! The outdoor shower was great too! It's a guaranteed good time! The Welcome Basket on our first day's arrival was a great touch also.
