We loved our stay here so much. The house is fully equiped with lots of amenities. There was also a ping pong and foozball table which was unexpected. Short but easy walk to the beach. The multi deck set up was really nice, the master bedroom had its own, then one with the hot tub and bbqs, then another on the top with a great view of the ocean. Also a screened in dining area. Can't say enough great stuff, really thought it was an excellent value for the price.

We had a problem with very small ants in the kitchen.
The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced and/or repaired, and do recommend getting a new beach umbrella.
Stairs from the deck to the side yard would be recommended as it would eliminate sand and is more practical.
Nice open family room and kitchen.
Had a wonderful time. -

My sister's family and mine had a great week at the Traveler. The
weather was perfect, and the walk to the beach easy. The location
of the home is convenient for grocery shopping, purchasing fresh
fish, gift shopping, and using the bike/walking path. We also
enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, and watching the deer and foxes from
the deck.
We particularly enjoyed the connected family room/kitchen space,
and the bedroom arrangement worked well for us. We rarely ate
out; the major inconvenience we experienced was the shortage of
cooking equipment. The house needs more pots, pans and cooking
utensils, and a good-quality grill. It was difficult to cook for 8-10
people with the equipment provided; we bought our own
inexpensive grill, which probably didn't last long after our stay.
We have been vacationing in Southern Shores for 30 years, and
found this house to be an excellent base for our family's enjoyment
of the area. Overall, we had a great time, and would rent the
property again. -

This home is wonderful. Much more space than you think you'll have. The

We had a wonderful week staying at Traveler. While some areas in the house are showing it's age, it is a well kept home. The master bedroom was spacious and private, and the upper level layout was great.
The kitchen was equiped with all necessry items. The house does have plenty of televisions sets, but no large TV.
The view of the stars at night from the hot tub on the deck was amazing.
