my husband and i stayed at wilkom with my son and his girlfriend in june 2008. some houses make you feel at ease - as if it were your own for the week and this one lived up to its name. first, let me say my number one requirement for being at ease is clean!! and this place is.
the decks were awesome. breakfast every morning on the back deck complete with comfortable furniture.
drinks in the hot tub at night (we put up a string of lights on the balcony)and star-watching on the top deck. but we spent our favorite times - relaxing on the porch swing after playing cards in the sun-room.
the house was nicely furnished with everything we needed (a slight request the first day brought the owner himself over to take care of the problem within the hour! very pleasant gentleman.)
great location with a parking pass to a beach area that is practically private.
only requirement preventing this from being the perfect house is that it does not accept dogs (we usually travel with our pet)
anyone staying here is making an excellent vacation decision - couldn't ask for anything more!!
ps even received a "christmas greeting" letter updating wilkom's info for 2009 from the owners!
