The house suited us perfectly, and we got excellent service from Southern Shores Realty on a few minor problems. Location was excellent -- walking distance to beach. Best of all, the neighborhood was NOT dominated by excessively large houses with manicured lawns, but by reasonable residences surrounded (mostly) by native shrubs and trees -- the persimmons were awesome! We also greatly appreciated the ability to recycle and the walking/biking paths that allowed us to leave the car at home. We look for environmentally friendly situations and this was a good one.

The Gorman was very nice. We enjoyed staying, because we had stayed in southern shores before and really liked the family atmosphere. The friendliness of other vacationers on the same street. The Gorman had everything we were looking for, the bedrooms kitchen and living and dining areas and outdoor shower, single family home.

We enjoyed our stay at Gorman very much. Wrap-around outside porch and screened porch aarea a big plus when weather is nice. Good linoleum floors were easy to keep clean. Very easy beach access. TV & WiFi internet both worked.

The place is simple, decently sized and a great value for where it is. I've stayed here twice and both times it worked perfectly and enable me and friends to take a great week-long vacation at a price which I can't imagine us finding anywhere else.
The beds aren't the comfiest in the world, and the space isn't enormous, but it works great. -

First of all it is so easy to deal with the folks at Southern Shore Reality. They make the process easy, simple and quick.
The house is great. I like the openess in the living area, and the privicay of the master bedroom. The views from the house are great. The location of the home to the beach (three house away) is such a plus for me. I like th efact that hte house is of the highway on quiet street. A great neighborhoos. It is very close to my favorite spots on the OBX, Southern Shores and Duck.
