Our stay was quite pleasant. We were able to roam the area conveniently. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We had visited acadia National Park the previous year and camped for a week in the rain. Wanting to revisit the area, we decided to make it more comfortable by finding a rental. We couldn't have been more pleased with this Southwest Harbor owned by Tim Clements. It was further away from acadia than we had hoped but the benefit was that we were able to explore this area of the island as well which we probably wouldn't have done otherwise. It was an easy drive to go to the other sites we wanted to visit as well. The apartment was beautifully decorated, immaculate, quiet and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. We enjoyed barbequing on their nice large grill in a quiet backyard. Tim and his wife were available when needed and were very helpful in answering all of our questions. Our teenage nieces who were with us were particularly amused by the singing fish plaque on the wall! We would highly recommend this rental!

We couldn't have had a better time. The owners were fantastic and
made us feel so comfortable. We didn't lack for anything. the apartment was cozy, fully equipped, and had lots of room if you wanted company. Excellent choice. We spent 4 weeks there and were not ready to come home. Wish i could come back.
By the way, we were near to Bar harbor, the mountains and lakes and
all the places that was there to see. We didn't miss a thing.

This condo is tucked away off the main street of Southwest Harbor, just down the street from Echo Lake. It's not on the water and other houses may have more spectacular views, but it was a pleasant hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. It boasted a loft bedroom with cathedral ceilings and a spiral staircase, a cute kitchen, and two other bedrooms next to the main living area. It would have housed three times as many people, which would have made it even more affordable. We also had a cookout with the gas grill out back. Our hosts also left us a bowl of fresh fruit that lasted for the whole week.

I had a family trip to acadia National Park. Personally, I don't like to stay in hotel room. I found Tim's property from one Bar Harbor website and decided to give it try. It turned out very nice stay. It's closed to national park and everywhere on the island. We bought lobsters from the harbor and cook at the house. Tim even ran a promotion for $50 gasoline card. The property also next to a local grocery store and laundry store. That made our stay even easier. I wish this is a three bedrooms but two bedrooms with a sofa bed in the living room are enough for my family. Thanks Tim and wish to go back soon.
