Immersed in the woodlands of the natural park of la Montagnola , at the doors of Siena, the country estate provides the perfect retreat hidden in the heart of oak and chestnust trees and flocks of sheep. The infinite panoramic view from the villa includes the towers of Siena, the castle of Celsa and the sloping hills of the Chianti region. That world apart called Tuscany ..... fragant with wine and resplendent in its spectacular landscapes, crowned with towers, castles , villas and town squares ... . From here , you can easily visit all the neighbouring towns of Pienza, San Gimignano, Montalcino , Montepulciano , the chianti area, the thermal...s baths and of course Florence. The location is in the heart of the natural park of La montagnola at only 13km from Siena . It sits alone on its hill, ensuring lots of privacy and no city noises and a nice breath from the woods in summertime .

This charming country villa is lovingly decorated with mediterranean warm colours on the walls, open wooden beam work , brick and stone door frames,a nice selection of traditional antique furniture, terracotta and wooden floors.

The villa offers three holiday apartments that can be rented independently or altogether ( from 2 to 12 -14 people, 8 ha of private land, parking,private swimming pool , sundeck, summer kitchen with bbq and grill,wifi.Linen is provided .

CELSA: is 160 sqm , ground floor,composed of 1 large living room with access to inner courtyard, 1 kitchen living room with marble double sink and ,cooking gas stove, american coffee machine , dish-washer, oven and fire place,1 master bedroom with bathroom in pale blue / shower+ 1 long bedroom with en suite bathroom /shower with 2 single beds + 1 sofa bed .

  Like Dante before us, Siena made us - we have been formed as tourists by Siena and especially by the sophisticated and warm welcome we received from Sonia and Pino, whose rambling 15th Century farmhouse frames this marvelous apartment.
  
  Witty and effusive and deeply knowledgeable (Sonia runs the preeminent school of Tuscan culture, cooking, and Italian language in Siena; Pino is a financial journalist), they have gathered antiques into their comfortable and historic home just outside the city. There's plenty of privacy between the apartments, but one is never isolated. It's like forming instant family without the burdens, the crises, or the weird uncle...
  
  Tuscany is a compelling place to spend a vacation, and of all of Tuscany, Siena combines a perfect mix ... history, charm, food, access, events, shopping, sights. Smaller and less crowded than Florence, Siena is just urban enough, imbued with its own fascinating social organization, infinitely colorful. We have been back four times now...
  
  But downtown Siena itself can be, candidly, an awful place to stay. Packed with gawking tourists, the charming narrow streets are a drag to maneuver at night. Speaking of which, after dinner the town shuts down. The ideal solution is to stay in a villa like this one, in the gorgeous Tuscan hills.
  
  You can't throw a fresco without hitting a place to stay in Tuscany. From historic mansions to agricultural tourism, we've seen and been to quite a range, but nothing is like this place.
  
  We rent out several apartments in Budapest, and when we travel we bring a critical eye to our accommodations and those who support them. We have learned much from Sonia and Pino, about treating guests as friends, about giving them space while giving them support, about the importance of amenity and the of comfort, about how to blend luxury with rustic ease.
  
  We would not stay anywhere else when we travel to Northern Italy and we look forward to our next trip there in 2011.
