Welcome to Conch Shell Beach Villa , Spanish Wells Bahamas. This charming beachfront villa is located in the quiet western area of the beautiful 2.5 mile long delicate pink sand beach of Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, Bahamas. This area of Spanish Wells Bahamas offers some of the best bonefishing in the Bahamas. Conch Shell Beach Villa is located on more than 1.5 acre of beach front property so that it offers much more privacy than most of the beachfront rental properties (which are typically situated on 1/8 acre or less). This lovely vacation villa rental offers a private gated entrance and a large private garden with many mature coconut palm tr...ees, an abundance of flowering trees, sea grape trees, coco plum trees, and large native Bahamian shade trees. This villa is located in an area of large beachfront estate lots (most 2+ acres) where there is no public beach access; so, this is the most quiet and secluded stretch of beach in Spanish Wells. This beachfront garden is a great place to relax in the hammock and peacefully read a good book.

The interior of the home is decorated in the very colorful island tradition with much of the funiture of wicker and rattan. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large great room, and a full kitchen.The villa offers every convenience including cable TV, DVD/CD player, washer & dryer, microwave, paddle fans in every room, and air-conditioning throughout. Unlimited high speed internet is available. There is a very nice sea view from the great room and the kitchen.

There is an expansive covered front porch that offers up a great view. This is a great place to relax and read a book on the chaise lounges in the shade, or to dine outside while taking in the view. Adjacent to the porch is an outside shower so that one can rinse off salt and sand before entering the house.

Bicycles and two 2-persons ocean kayaks are offered with the vacation rental with which one can use to explore the area. A 16' new fiberglass boat with motor is also offered for those that love fishing, snorkeling, and sightseeing. With the boat one can explore nearby islets, islands, cays, deserted beaches, and some of the Spanish Wells Bahamas area's most beautiful reefs. The boat is moored right in front of the villa making it very convenient to use at anytime. (Otherwise, motor boats, kayaks, and bicycles are expensive to rent separately.)

The Spanish Wells area is well-known for its great fishing and snorkeling. The Devil's Backbone Barrier Reef is just offshore. Terrific bonefishing can be had right in front of Conch Shell Beach Villa. Spanish Wells is considered the lobster capital of The Bahamas.

Spanish Wells is clean, safe, and pristine. In Spanish Wells Bahamas, you will never run out of things to do until you want to. The native Bahamian quilt makers, the local straw vendors, and the museum are always fun to visit. A visit with local fishermen as they bring in their fresh catch each day can be both informative and delicious. A trip on the Fast Ferry to nearby Harbour Island is a delight, and you won't want to miss the local restaurants, the new gym, the island bakeries, and the best fishing and snorkeling that the Bahamas has to offer.

Rates for Max. 4 adults plus 2 children: $1795/wk. October - November 15. $2095/wk. Jan., Feb., April 1 - 5 & May 25 - August 15. Christmas/ New Years (2 week minimum rental) March & Easter weeks - $2295/wk. $1995/wk. for all other weeks. Please ask about discounts for stays of two or four weeks on the Peak and Off Peak Rates. (Monthly rate is for 28 nights.) There is a $400/wk. refundable damage deposit required with final rental payment. Note: The rental rates are for accommodations at Conch Shell only. The motor boat , ocean kayaks, and bicycles are offered free of charge for your use at your own risk.   Spanish wells is the perfect getaway for a relaxing long weekend. We firstly stopped off in Harbour Island for the day and then caught the ferry back to Spanish Wells. We stayed at Conch Shell and had a really lovely time. The house has a beautiful view of the ocean from the terrace (where we had a champagne brunch one morning) and the beach is deserted which is fantastic for romantic walks or reading your book. The house itself is very comfortable and clean and has everything you would need for the perfect island getaway.
