Leamington Pavilion is located on a gorgeous beach on the lush west coast of Barbados in the parish of St. Peter. The 2.5-acre beachfront property has its own 200-foot frontage to the Caribbean Sea and is set amid one of the most beautiful tropical gardens on the island. Italianate in design, the villa is constructed of exotic coral stone. The estate was originally built in the 1950's and redesigned by the famous stage designer, Oliver Messel in the 1960's.<br /><br />The present owners have recently completed extensive renovations and the villa was completely refurbished by a noted London interior designer. The interiors feature... a sophisticated mix of English Country, antiques and tropical rattans. The dramatic architecture is perfectly complemented by period oil paintings and classic statuary. The home features a charming Botanic Garden room as well as a truly magical Baroque dining room. No detail has been overlooked to include the crystal glassware and Wedgwood china, which was imported from Harrods in London. The impressive living and dining areas open directly to a stunning covered terrace that is comfortably furnished.<br /><br />The villa features four air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite baths. Amenities include a private gym complete with free weights and a treadmill and Lifecycle as well as a private tennis court set in the exquisite gardens. Leamington Pavilion boasts a spectacular oversized private swimming pool set on a coral stone terrace where twin gazebos are furnished for alfresco dining providing the perfect setting for viewing the gorgeous Caribbean sunsets. The staff at Leamington Pavilion is trained to an exceptionally high standard, providing all guests with exceptional cuisine and personal attention. <br /><br />For larger groups, the Leamington Cottage, a one bedroom coral stone cottage on the estate may be rented at an additional charge, as may the Leamington House, an adjacent five-bedroom villa with its own staff including butler and private pool. In total, the estate offers ten bedrooms. Leamington Pavilion is highly recommended for the most discriminating clients.</p>
