This is an exceptionally sunny apartment, located in the best residental area in Split (Meje). From apartment is beautiful view on the port, yacht club and islands.
It is located in a quite street among pine trees in park Marjan. Apartment is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the heart center of Split (250m ) and 10 minute walk from a very popular beach, swimming pool and a yacht club ACI.

House is situated in the Meje district -quiet, elite and residential part of the Split. Just between Marjan Forest Park from one side and sea from other side. The town center is about 250m away, or 10 min walk along . House is located at the foot of the Marjan hill . It's sunny south side. Marjan Forest Park is green oasis and a recreational center of the city. It is a perfect place for biking, jogging and other outside activities. It is the setting for numerous beaches and jogging trails as well as tennis courts and the city ZOO , all surrounded by the scenic forest. Nearest beach is only 500m far from the house. It is pebbeled Kaštelet beach with several coffee bars.
Size of apartment is 100m2+40m2 terrace + 15 garden with flowers on terrace. Parking place has in front apartment .
September and October a minimum stay of weeks. Coming and going on Saturdays.

We were really pleased with this beautiful apartment close to the Split city center. Quiet enough to relax but close enough to get into the lively center in a few minutes.
The apartment was very well maintained and we did not miss anything. Even if - the fantastic view of the harbour makes up for everything! We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having dinner while watching the sun set.
The owner Ivica is very helpful and friendly and made us a fantastic fish/seafood barbeque. We had a problem with the hot water once but he fixed it as soon as we told him.
Only one littlte remark: the beds could have been a bit softer for our taste, but we would still come back any time! -

We really liked the apartment.
It had lots of space and a huge terrace with a super view over the adriatic which we found really relaxing.
The service was good with the owner offering to cook fish for us one evening. Parking was easy just outside. The location is on a quiet road with very little traffic as it is not a through road. The beach is nearby and nice and clean. The old town is nearby and there is the pretty forest rising up behind the apartment. We had a very enjoyable stay in Split.

We were in Split 5 days. We were in this apartment 3 nights. It's amazing. The size is more than ample and was very comfortable for our family of 6. The owners were kind and helpful. The kitchen was the most stocked vacation rental we've even been in. But the beauty of this place is the patio and view. It's better than pictured and I'd highly recomind.

Really spacious with a fab balcony and good location. Have 2 small children and it was perfect for a family. A small hill to go up to get back from town but our 3yr old used to make it up no problem. Excellent value for money.

We stayed a week in this lovely apartment and we were very pleased with the surroundings and decor.
The view from the balcony was soothing for the soul. And the rooms were fine for a family with a teenage son, a minor daughter and two parents.
The owner, Ivica, is very friendly and helpful. And the apartment's location is close to the city and the nearby park is worth spending a day on.
Tip: There's a supermarket nearby. Simply climb the total of 169 steps down and around the big house, you can see from the balcony.
All in all, we can recommend this fine apartment. -

We were four friends having a great time in Split. The apartment was very nice with a fantastic view to the adriatic Sea. It was only 5-10 minutes walk to the city center, but still a very quiet area. The owner Ivica was very friendly, he also served us very good grilled fish one evening. Thanks again Ivica from anita, Grete, Rita and Ingrid.

It was our second vacation in this appartment (Franic1). After a very warm welcome we started immediately with relaxed vacation days ... enjoying the great view to split Marina from a nice terasse. Only 5 minutes walk to center of split !!! The appartment is very big and clean ... perfect size for bigger families. One day we we had a famous dinner prepared by owner Ivica ... best fish meal ever !! This was not our last stay in this appartment. Many thanks again to Ivica from Michael, Petra, Mathias, Susanne

Very nice apartment in a very nice and quiet area just a short walk from Split center. Excellent terrace with fantastic seaview. Very kind owner lives in same building. Only thing missing was a barbeque for the terrace.

We were eight friends staying in apartment Franic 1 and 2. We where very satisfied. Good space for all of us. The big terrace was perfect for mornings and evenings.
We arrived earlier than we had agreed and the apartments was not ready for us. There was no problem. The owner showed us the apartments and we could leave our luggage there and come back in some hour.
He also made us a typical cake from the region.
We really enjoyed our stay. -

This being our first trip to Croatia, we were a little apprehensive booking an apartment over the internet. Upon arrival to Franic 1, any apprehensions we had were quickly dispelled when we met the owner Ivica Franic. A gregarious man he met us with a warm handshake and a "welcome to split and my home."The apartment sits directly above his apartment, which makes it extremely convenient if you need his help for any event.
The apartment is located a short 10 minute walk Split central, and has an absolutely gorgeous view of the adriatic and split harbour.
Ivica is very service minded and spent about 1 hour with us giving us an orientation to the sights of Split. One of the best kept secrets of Franic 1 is the delicious dinner Ivica cooked for us consisting of fresh fish and prawns, topped off by a crepe dessert.
Thank you Ivica for making us feel very comfortable and welcome in Split!

Welcome to paradize in Split.
We do mostly recommend Franic 1 if you:
- want to stay in a luxourious flat with a tremendous view to the adriatic Sea and Split harbour from a huge terrace.
- want to get access to Marjan, a nearby recreation area.
- want to visit the Riva, a five minutes walk from the flat.
- want to go swimming at various beaches.
- want to preprare your own meals in a well equipped kitchen.
- are looking for a plesant and serviceminded landlord and his wife.
We have been here two times now and wish to return next year.
Go to Franic 1 in Split! The more you stay, the more you will enjoy. -

Nous étions deux couples qui avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cet appartement magnifique, grand, surplombant la mer! Tel que décrit et plus encore! à 10 minutes de marche de Split, de la mer, quartier calme et fleuri, près de la montagne.
Ivica Franic nous a superbement accueillis. Nous reviendrons souvent si ce n'était si loin.
