      Great location

Left on 10/10/2011 for a stay in September 2011

Apartment was small but very clean and quiet. Location was perfect - handy to central Split, ferry and bus terminals, and the market. Anita greeted us and showed us around, and left us with a lovely bottle of white wine and useful tourist information.

      Small but beautiful

Left on 09/27/2011 for a stay in August 2011

While this studio may have been on the compact side, we managed to survive five days here with our manic two year old! Seriously, this is a very fine holiday rental and it was an absolute pleasure to do business with the owner. The studio was reserved for us on the basis of trust (no deposit was required), who was incredibly helpful (even though we never even met the chap in the flesh) throughout our stay.

The flat essentially comprises one room with an adjacent bathroom. Outside you find a gated terrace which must be about 15 metres square. It must be said that the said terrace saved us from the terrorizing two year old, who (like we) adored the lavender bushes and lime trees planted along its borders.

Inside the main room there is a small kitchen as well as a double bed and other furniture. What is essentially so enchanting about the place is that the fittings and finishings are just so tastefully done. Many of the big hotel chains I have stayed at could learn a lesson or three from the owners of this rental. In a nutshell, we were very happy during our stay here.

Amazing location, Amazing City, Amazing Memories

Left on 08/15/2011 for a stay in July 2011

My fiance and I booked this apartment upon the great reviews and I am so glad we did! Anita was at the apartment to greet us with the keys and also to offer us any help on where to go and how to get there. I have to note how clean the apartment was when we arrived! We were so impressed.

The apartment is magnificent! It is truly a little gem in the heart of a fantastic city. The location is prime: 5 minute walk to Bavice Beach and also to the center city. There are so many restaurants in walking distance and also a grocery store. We recommend the Black Cat Bistro (we are there 3 times!: Great service, cheap + good food).

The location of the apartment is quiet, so after a long day, this is the perfect place to come back to. If you ever need anything Jozo is always there to help. The free WiFi in the apartment was a fantastic plus!

We are actually already planning to come back and we will definitely stay at this apartment again!

Thank you for making our stay in Split feel like home. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had.

Stylish little apartment in a good location

Left on 08/07/2011 for a stay in August 2011

The apartment had a very good location: nice and quiet side street only 10 minutes walk from the Diocletian palace. The apartment itself was small but had all the basic facilities, including mini-kitchen and nice bathroom.

      Great apartment with excellent location!

Left on 07/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011

The apartment was just what we needed: clean and stylish, and there were all the amenities we needed. Also the owner was very nice, helpful and welcoming.

It was very nice to have a private small yard that faced a park.

And the location was perfect: Bacvice beach (and also other beaches to the east of Bacvice), Riva, bus station and ferry port, Green Market, everything... was near. Very near also was a supermarket (Tommy's) and on the way to the beach also a smaller grocery shop and a bakery shop.

Because the neighbourhood is not a tourist area, you can find several nice but inexpensive restaurants nearby. We can recommend the following: Konoba Ostarija u Vidakovi near Bacvice, Bota Sare at Bacvice beach building complex (there was also a very good lunch place at the beach area, the last one to the left), Pizzeria Bakra and Konoba Pizzeria Notturno (I ate there one of the best stakes ever).

I highly recommend both the apartment and the area of Split.

A cozy apartment close to the old city and the pier

Left on 05/22/2011 for a stay in September 2010

It's a little bit difficult to find at the first time, I need help from the locals or I could not reach there. After the first visit, it's actually very conveniently located, close to the old city and the pier, yet quiet enough. The owner is very friendly and considerate, with drinks and snacks to welcome you. Though not big, it's clean and cozy, good for a couple. To me, the bed and sofa is a bit too soft.

It is a nice little gem giving you some intimacy in the middle of the bustling city. Very clean and modern. The owner incredibly friendly, professional and easy to get along with. One remark only: the bed should be replaced soon as it is really quite uncomfortable.. Otherwise, great!

      A little Oasis in Split

Left on 09/05/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Charming little apartment. Well presented with gorgeous courtyard outside. Clean, air-conditioned and in the most perfect location between Bacnice Beach and Diocletian's Palace. It was a real joy to return here after a day of heat and salt-water.

      Great little gem

Left on 08/02/2010 for a stay in July 2010

A lovely apartment in Split, very clean and fresh. The family renting out the apartment is very accomodating and really nice people. The apartment is very well done up and has a washing machine which came in handy for us. The first night we arrived the fridge was full with wine and local delicatessen which made us feel very welcome. Rating of all of our stays in Croatia this was the best and most welcoming. The only reason why there is not a five is because I did not have a view to the sea.

The landlord Jozo elped us out with taxis, sightseeing etc. If you are staying in Split for a few night I would highly recommend this place for a couple. It is better than the average hotel. Highly recommended.
