Birmingham, UKRecommended apartment!
Left on 06/04/2013 for a stay in May 2013
I stayed at this apartment with my 8 year old daughter, and we had a great stay here. Ranka and Zoran are friendly hosts who speak good English. The apartment is on the upper floor with a small balcony that gets the sun in the pm and use of the garden. It is clean and comfortable. The area is quiet so we slept well, and it's within an easy walk to town. One night Ranka cooked us a barbecue of organic meat of the kind I rarely taste in the UK! If you need any advice or help from them during your stay just ask as they are very helpful. If I ever come back to Split I would stay here again

The location was very good - 15-20mins walk to town or you had the local cafes and marinas to wander about away from the hussle of the town on your doorstep.
Excellent for visiting the islands as the ferrys are available and any buses. The Marjan country park is 10 mins. away and worth a visit.
Zoran and Ranka are excellent hosts who enjoy having guests and will help you in every way. -

Left on 02/14/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We spent from 30 December 2012 until 05 January 2013 in Split, using the Nevica apartment (it's on the first floor) as a base. The owners live on the ground floor of the building; they are wonderfully friendly and welcoming - and speak good English.
The area was, as you might expect, very quiet at that time of year; this suited us well, as did the cosiness, cleanliness and privacy of the apartment. The kitchen is small, as is the lounge, but there is everything that you need. The bathroom is more than adequate.
Also very good for us was the proximity to the city centre and to the wonderful walking on the Marjan peninsular.
We really enjoyed Split; it is a fascinating city with much to see.

LondonGreat location and very nice owners
Left on 10/07/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Apartment Nevica is a good value for money: it is close to the centre of Split (15 minutes walk) and provides comfortable, clean and well-equipped acommodation. Two small but neat rooms, new bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette (coffee machine, pots, pans, cutlery, tea towels, cups, plates).
The owners are lovely people who make you feel right at home; from arranging the airport pickup, providing map, area guidance and tourist information to the home made dinner with wine which they cooked for us so we could sample the traditional local quisine.
We highly recommend it for either short or long stay. -

Zoran and Ranka make you feel very welcome and will share great tips on where to go and what to do. They even cooked us a traditional Dalmation meal on our last night. If there is one downside to the apartment it's that the kitchen is a little small, but it has everything you need. The terrace in the back garden is a lovely haven and you feel like you're in the countryside. That said, the apartment is only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre of Split and has shops and restaurants near by so you are well catered for.

tervurenGreat surprise in a green and peaceful area
Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The location is surprisingly located in a green area near the sea (rowing club) and few tennis fields.
The apartment is ideally situated near the old town center (5 minutes on foot) and the Marjan park (possible to swim).
The apartment is situated in a house with a seperate entry. Rooms are well decorated with all full convenience (air conditionning, wifi, useful kitchen, ...), with 2 private terrasse.
Owner are very friendly, always ready to help or share advices. We received fresh tomatoes from the garden.
A charming stay in split. Ideally for long stay. Thank you !! -

Left on 08/25/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We felt very much looked after by the apartment owners Zoran and Ranka who could not have been more helpful. The apartment was cosy and clean and it was lovely to have the use of the outside eating area and garden.
The location was very close to the beautiful wooded National Park area which is surrounded by rocky beaches and small coves with plenty of shade from the trees. The water here is extremely clean and we saw plenty of small fish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins etc... Definitely take a snorkel.
The old city is also only a short walk away. This is a lovely understated location which we enjoyed very much. Plenty of history, some good restaurants, cafes and museums.
There are plenty of excursions available for those that do not have a car and want to travel further afield. I would thoroughly recommend the white water rafting as an option. -

Left on 07/17/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have spent great week in Zoran and Ranka apartment. The location was the best for us. Very close to the center of Split (15 min walk) and to the beaches. There is one marina beach short walk from the house with two restaurants and several very nice beaches on the Marjan peninsula (3,5 to 5 km from the house) with free parking space and beach bars. The apartment is very clean, very well equipped. There is also table and chairs in the garden area. We were allowed to pick some tomatoes from the garden. Ranka and Zoran are very friendly, ready to help and give advice on every subject. They also invite us for the dinner and we had very delicious food and very interesting conversation about history of the Split. Split is also good point of depart for a day trip to Dubrovnik or short visit to Trogir.

Left on 06/04/2012 for a stay in May 2012
From the moment we arrived and met one half of the couple
who were renting us the apartment we knew we'd bagged a good place. Zoran came down and collected us but also found the bus driver after we left our suitcase on it in all the excitement. Nothing was too much trouble and that was how it remained for the week. Ranke (Zoran's wife) even cooked us a traditional Croatian meal.
The apartment was about 15 mins walk from the historic centre and although not in a tourist area we appreciated this as it meant we met locals. There was a trampoline park on the doorstep, great bar about 5 mins away, national park (with great playground and swimming) 10 mins away and a local supermarket just round the corner. In all a very good location unless you want everything right on the doorstep and aren't one for exploring.
The apartment itself was immaculate, quiet and the basic mod cons. It's not a large apartment but you also have own area in garden including use of the BBQ.

Accommodation is close to downtown, 10 minutes walk from the promenade of Split, and yet in a quiet area where there is no noise.
Nice furnished apartment, and most importantly very clean. Prices are affordable and I recommend this accommodation to everyone regardless of age, gender and purpose of their visit.
The owners are very friendly and hospitable, ready to help and give additional information ... and thank you for a really nice time ...

The ovners informations helpt us to use better our time. As the mediteranien are very temperment, it was good to have rest in the quiet part of the town in a very good organized and well equiped apartement Nevica.
