If you are looking for a place enough far away from urban noise but close to its attractions and entertainment, or a place for truthful enjoy in Croatia's Dalmatian coast beauty and clear sea, then you've come to the right place for your holidays in Croatia.
Our family villa provides accommodation for up to 17 persons in exclusive apartments, or to be more precise entire floors of the villa for rent. It is only 100 meters from the beach, situated in Podstrana, a mixed residential and tourism area 6 kilometers south of the ancient town of Split.

Because the villa is situated in the center of southern Croatia (the region is called Dalmatia) and just 6Km south of the 1700 year old history painted town of Split, it will be the beautiful base from where you will explore the beauties of Croatia. Split is the center point for those exploring Croatia's romantic coastline and extraordinary islands like Hvar, Brac, Vis and Korcula. Visitors can spend days enjoying Split's romantic beach and shopping or venture just 30 minutes outside to the city of Trogir, a place showcasing cultural treasures from medieval times, or why not take a trip to explore the world-famous city of Dubrovnik.

Great stay at Grgo,s superior Villa. Wiew is absolutely one of the best in the area (from the balcony of top floor.) In regards of customer service we really have nothing to complain' all the best to Grgo and his parents (också samma på svenska)

Vi hade en underbar vecka hos Villa GG.
Ett mycket vänligt bemötande.
Lägenheten var jättefin med en underbar altan mot havet.
Det vi gillade minst var alla trappor, men vi vande oss vid dem.

Very nice and clean apartment in Podstrana, a few miles away from Split. The apartment has a large and great terrace with a fantastic sea view and is very close to the beach and restaurants. It is very comfortable, recently renovated in a modern style. Always willing to facilitate our stay and making it as perfect as possible, Grgo the owner of the house, was very nice and helpful. We strongly recommend this place and will certainly remember for years the great time spent there.

We stay in the top roof apartment in Villa GG and it looks precisely as the picture showed and it is clean and practical. You don't need to think about bring towels, beach towels or washing powder, everything is included and available which is good.
Grgo gives you good advice and know the neigbourhood which save you allot of time. 200 meters from villa GG you can find a bakery, supermarket and a bus stop. A couple of restaurants is in walking distance.
We were very satisfied with our stay in villa gg. -

Just stayed at Grgo's house for one week with my extended family. From the start, Grgo was so helpful, kind and accommodating. That continued through our arrival and to the very end. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. You are 5 min from the beach, market, bus stop, and restaurants. You don't need a car. The kitchen has everything and all you have to do is relax on the veranda overlooking the sea. The view is amazing!!! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. One thing I noticed after being here is that some of the places look good in the pictures but when you get here it doesn't look that great, especially the locations. However, that is not the case with this house. The le meridian is down the street and if I came back I would choose this house over the hotel. Just fantastic! i have traveled the world and croatia is now at the top of my list for holidays.

Maybe you´ll have a look at the pictures and think: this must be an photomontage. Be sure, it is not. In reality it is even more wonderful than the pictures can show. Grgo is a perfect host and really thought about everything a rental flat should have. Last but not least, what ever he recommends to you...do it, eat it, try it! You won´t regret.

We rented the top floor of villa GG and it couldn´t have been better for us (two families with children and grandparents). Villa itself was very beautiful with wonderful view to the sea and particularly we enjoyed spending time at the terrace, beautiful sunsets and stars in the sky. Loved it and miss it!

Värdfamiljen var ytterst vänlig och hjälpsam med allting. Lägenheten var väldigt fin och hade allt man kunde önska sig och även mer. Man kan varmt rekommendera Villa GG!
Fast vi reste utan bil kunde vi lätt ta oss till närliggande Split, Omis och Trogir och värdfamiljen hjälper till med att ordna utflykter till de mer avlägsna sevärdheterna. Hit kan man återkomma fler gånger! -

Vi rekommenderar Villa-GG varmt! Kanonfin lägenhet med en helt underbar terass med vidunderlig utsikt över hav och Split. Att sitta där med ett glas vin och se solen gå ner, går inte av för hackor! Grgo är en engagerad hyresvärd som tar väl hand om sina gäster; tipsar om utflykter, fixar taxi och är allmänt hjälpsam. Allt går att ordna!

As a retired Hotelier, I feel that I am more critical than most...We were a group of 10 people, including two teenagers and a baby of 9 months.The accommodation was of an extremely high standard, well appointed with breath taking views. The service offered by Grgo surpassed our expectations and was personalized.The location of the appartment with regards to the beach, shops, restaurants was excellent. Only a few kilometers to Split. We would highly recommend Villa GG and plan to return ourselves. Thanks Grgo and family.

We were seven adults and two kids, 4- and 6 years old, that stayed one week at this beautiful place. We rented the top floor with a fantastic sea view and a big, wonderful terasse. The appartment is well-equiped and all five bedrooms have their own bathrooms and shower, not to mention are they very clean. I don´t think it is possible to find a nicer and more helpful owner than Mr Gunjaca and his family. I highly recommend both of his appartments to anyone who wants to explore the beautiful Croatia. We will definately be back, one week is not enough for a place like this.
Rekommenderar varmt de fantastiska lägenheterna i Villa GG. Ett extra plus är att hyresvärden talar flytande svenska och det känns väldigt tryggt att han också är läkare. Läget är ypperligt för den som inte vill bo riktigt i centrum av Split. Med bil kommer man snabbt till alla ljuvliga ställen runtomkring, men även goda bussförbindelser finns nära. Ett minne för livet. -

Villa GG is one of the nicest accommodations I've been to. We had a really nice time relaxing on the fantastic terrace, and keep in mind that it was april and boiling hot up there.
But not only the house is superb, Grgo and his family are very nice and fired up the grill, told us some secret sights or organized a cheaper taxi for us.
Considering all i have to say we will come back there for sure, cause its such a nice place and every night u can look at a astonishing sundown.

Me and my family (including three small children) spent two weeks in the top floor of Villa GG in the end of june/beginning of july. Three aspects made Villa GG the perfect choice of accomodation for us:
1) Grgo: he makes all the difference. He's very ambitious and dedicated in making your vacation a success. He's very service minded and a great host. He will take care of you from that you've landed (by arranging smooth transportation to the villa) and throughout the stay. He's never far away for questions, but also never intrusive. Also, his father and mother (living on the first floor) are great people with an extraordinary sense of hospitaliy.
2) The villa itself: the villa is top notch! The big terass is the heart of the floor with its spectacular view and adjcent kitchen. Here we spent all of our mornings for breakfasts and many nights relaxing, watching the stars in the clear sky after an adventurous day.
3) The location and the nice weather: Croatia is such a beautiful country! And Podstrana, being close enough to Split to effortlessly enjoying the beautiful city, yet enough far away for tranquillity, is a perfect choice. We spent many days at the beautiful, children-friendly beaches with its clear and warm water and many nights at the nice restaurants here, in Split and in Omis (the Dalmatian food is excellent btw!). Trips to the islands were also very accessible, both from Split and Omis. I recommend exploring this beautiful country!
To sum it up: You will not be disappointed with choosing Villa GG as your vacation accomodation, it has my best recommendations!
