Phoenix Cottage enjoys a unique location on the only private property within the grounds of the Otsego Golf Club. This charming traditional cottage dates back to 1920 when it was created to emulate the spacious grace of the original with double sliding doors which open onto a view of Mount Wellington and the ninth green while a stone-paved porch wraps around two sides of the house which backs directly onto woods. Just 9 miles from Cooperstown at the north end of Otsego Lake on a hilltop amid the grounds of the Otsego Golf Club. Walk 2 minutes down the hill to the Clubhouse to take advantage of special golfing offers for our guests or just to enjoy a light lunch on the Club porch. Five minutes to the world class cultural events at the Glimmerglass Opera, 10 minutes to the protected beach at Glimmerglass State Park, 15 minutes to Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Farmer's Museum, Fenimore Art Museum, weekly Farmers Market and lots of great dining and shopping. The Cooperstown Dreams Park is 8 minutes south of town. Ample outdoor space for parking at the Cottage.
