Description

Rinn Ná Mara is an absolutely charming property nestled right on the rocks of the Mussel Ridge Channel which allows one to enjoy all the boating activity in complete privacy. It is truly spectacular inside and out. The house faces due South and is located on a granite ledge thirty-five feet from the high tide line. Residents are always within earshot of the gentle sound of waves.

The architectural design was by Chris Glass and the Japanese garden was designed and installed by Masahiko Seko. The inside is reproduction Shaker furniture, cabinets and trim. All of the woodwork has been antiqued with a rubbed, crackle finish. The floors are natural fired ceramic. The deck is solid teak. Antique New England quilts are featured throughout.

The kitchen was made by William Ohs. It features a professional Russel gas stove and grill, a Miele silent dishwasher, a Miele stove, a Sharp microwave convection oven, solid granite work surfaces and a breakfast bar. A washer/ dryer is also provided.

Both bathrooms feature showers and whirlpool bathtubs with in-line heaters. The master bathroom also has a steam room/shower. All major rooms have ceiling fans and are fitted with telephone/intercom and fax/modem connections. The house has a comprehensive security system and a DSS satellite system is installed as well. The house is completely winterized and uses radiant in-floor heating. A wood burning stove is located in the living room area.

DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT $500. It will be refunded within 14 days, provided the premises & its contents are returned in the same condition as they were found. Should any of the appliances, incl. the stove & outdoor grill require more than wiping of surfaces a fixed charge of no less than $50 will be applied.
All rentals include a 4-hour cleaning allowance for each week of your stay. Cleaning services exceeding this allowance will be billed at $30/hour.

We certainly could not have asked for kinder comments and just wanted to add that, although the current pictures are not showing it, we have installed a handrail that runs from the top of the stairs/the parking area all the way to the house to provide some additional support if needed.
