We stayed in this apartment for one month. It was a fantastic experience as the owner and the staff are very cordial and helpful. We never had any problems whatsoever. The security in the apartment was really good. There are lot of services available in the apartment such as cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.,The gym and the swimming pool was excellent. The staff was really really nice. The maintenance staff was extremely efficent if there is a fault in the apartment. No fixed phone but anybody can ring in the extension from outside. Car wash is availble with a small fee. Shops are in 5mts walking distance. Parliament is 10 mts drive. Keels super is also within 10 mts drive. The TV has more than 80 channels. Only thing to watch out is for the power bill if you are using air condition and the water heater contineously. Undercover car parking available for each apartment. I would recommend this apartment to anybody who is willing to have a great time in Colombo. As the apartment was in 7th floor , there was no mosquitos present.

My wife and I spent two weeks at the Millennium Plaza apartments in October 2012. Sujivie the owner was very prompt in responding to our inquiries, and was a pleasure to deal with. The location is in close proximity to shopping and other conveniences. Within a short distance is the lake on which the Parliament is located, and is a lovely area along the lakeshore for a morning walk.
The apartment was equipped with a full kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, and two bedrooms. The apartment was clean, and so were the common areas of the building. There is a covered tenant parking area, and an outdoor pool. Round the clock security is provided. The management office was able to arrange additional cleaning half way during our stay, at a very reasonable charge.
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, and have no hesitation in recommending this unit. Thank you Sujivie, for making our stay comfortable.Response from Sujivie Irugalbandara - 02/05/2013

We spend 6 nights in this apartment last week during our trip to T 20 world cup match, excellent apartment with all facilities, had a gr8 view of palm and cocunut trees from the balcony.
Fabulous gym, swimming pool, very friendly people
Double worth for the money.

Upon arrival at the plaza, we found it very inviting and very clean!!! Our suite was well kept and quite spacious. The staff at the plaza were very friendly and helpful if we ever needed any assistance. The restaurant downstairs was quite useful and the food was amazing as we did not have time to cook and was on vacation mode!! I would definately recommend this place to any one that is visiting Srilanka as it also has 24hr. security so we felt very safe. I would personally stay here again when I go back to Srilanka!!!

We rented two apartments from Sujivie, next to each other. The staff were always very willing to help when ever we needed anything. We found the location quite convenient and the surroundings beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the takeaway from the restaurant downstairs was also very good. A dishwasher would have been very useful and a larger fridge would have been good.

Clean and excellently maintained apartment for anyone needing a short term rental place. Easy access to major locations in Colombo avoiding most traffic jams. Well mannered, unobtrusive security and building facility staff added great comfort to my stay. Absolutely tranquil for a traveller after visits to the beach, shopping in the city or tiresome plane flights. View from the balcony of monkeys performing acrobatics on far away trees were a treat every morning. Thanks, this place was super!

Our 2 bedroom apartment, which we had booked for three weeks during our stay in Sri Lanka, was one of the highlights of our holiday. The family loved the spacious area, cleanliness, and beautiful view from the balcony. Situated in a very convenient and central location, daily travels were made easy. We enjoyed the promt and friendly room service & reastaurant, as well as the pool and gym downstairs. We would definitely recommend others to enjoy their stay at 2000 plaza apartments as much as we did!

If you are looking for a hassle free clean and comfortable apartment to spend your holiday this can be recommended with no hesitation.
Sujivie is very friendly and accommodating. she is prompt in responding to emails, depending on which part of the world you live you can expect a reply from her in few hours if not max 24 hours if you are far away from SL time zone. She is very professional and have great problem solving skills always bring a prompt and practical solution if and when you have a problem.
Apartment and the apartment complex is clean and well maintained with a friendly building management staff, 24 hours security at 2 main gates and also in the building, a friendly receptionist during business hours. Restaurant in the building complex open from 7 am to 10 pm good quality food at a reasonable price, room services available, a reasonable choice on the menu. You can have very delicious meal at a cost of around $ 4 -5 (as per May 2011 prices)
If you need a good and quality accommodation here is the place to go, I am satisfied trust you too will.
Hereafter all my SL holidays will be based and operated from here as far as the price remain at a resonable level as now : - )

If you are looking for a very comfortable, value for money location, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the ideal place to stay. The views we experienced from the 10th floor will stay with us for a long time. Also, the food provided at the restaurant was so delicious and the menu had a fair choice. Have to mention the friendly and helpful staff including security and restaurant staff. Thank you for making our stay a memorable and comfortable one.

We had a memorable and relaxing holiday at Sujeivie's appartment in a mosquito-free environment. The location is very convenient and quiet. The office, maintenance and security staff were very helpful and kind, especially Miss Nilmini and Mr Lal Perera. Not to mention Sujivie was extremely helpful, she promptly replied to my emails and arranged everything I had asked for prior to my arrival to the appartment. Minor improvements I can suggest are to repair the exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms, to replace some of the lights bulbs which are burnt out, and to have a vaccum cleaner instead of a broom as it would be more useful. We would also suggest installing a tumble drier or a washing machine with a drier function.

We admired the location as it was away from the busy city streets, no air pollutants, mosquitoes and fly insects. The view across the paddy field was eye pleasing and mind refreshing. Suggest to improve interior lighting as many bulbs have been burnt and low wattage. Also a vacuum cleaner would be more suitable than the brooms provided.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday staying at Sujivie's apartment - it was a nice, clean, secure and very spacious apartment. She was very helpful in arranging everythig before hand and answered our questions/emails very promptly. The location is great as it is away from any traffic and congestion, so very quiet and peaceful. Excellent room service food - value for money, very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone!!

The apartment is situated at a very convenient spot. It was clean and nicely furnished.It was spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff ( Mr Lal Perera, accountant, security, restaurant , laundry etc) were really friendly and helpful.We had several meals at the restaurant and enjoyed the food very much.

I highly recommend this apartment. I stayed for a few days with my wife and young kids, ages 8, 5, and 3, and we had a blast. By far the best value accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. It is not in Colombo itself but we had no problems getting around by tuk tuk and taxis can be easily arranged as well. Sujivie is a top class guy and went far out of his way to make our stay comfortable. There is a restaurant in the complex that has great food at very reasonable prices and also delivers.
I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anyone and plan to stay there again when in Colombo. -

Stayed at the apartment last year July for a month and where will I start... This is a great place, Fully Furnished apartment, well maintained swimming pool, GYM, Restaurant that serves great food , Laundry, Parking, 24 hour security, room service, Cable TV, internet... the list goes on. Easy access to Colombo. My Kids had a great time too.
