said houseboat has large well furnished bed room's with walnut wood hand carved furniture, hand embroidered beautiful curtain's, wall to wall carpets, every room has beautiful wooden hand made ceiling. Every room commends grand views of historical
fort called "Hariparbath" and most beautiful lake called Nigeen Lake On the other side the houseboat has approach through huge beautiful garden having varity of marvelous flowers,
& huge big national tree of Kashmir called "Chinar".

My eagerly awaited Kashmir tour could morph into an immensely gratifying, harmonious melody of experiences, largely due to the passionate striving of Capt. Hameed Dunoo. Everyday, my family's return to his deluxe houseboat New Buckingham Palace was a homecoming. Well furnished cozy rooms, suits and authentic Kashmiri recipes in homemade-style had quickly turned into an addiction. I write this article as my heart-felt and profound tribute to this person, who is the Holy Grail of hospitality. His special touches like, stopping by a mustard field and taking me right into it, routing a three-hour shikara ride through the heart of the fragile lake-farming ecosystem, treating me to a tour of a trout farm and then serving some for lunch, are his USP. It means a lot, really. Unlike the superficial tourist, those who like to enjoy a hassle free comprehensive package tour of the Kashmir valley, those who would like to sink into the ethos of the people and the place, Captain Hameed Dunoo is just the right messiah. Every room in the houseboat can also boast of a tranquil and picturesque location on the Nigeen lake. Not in the least, he has his way of getting things done and we have experienced this more than once. A perfect organizer, a warm host and above all, a top notch human being are what sets Capt. Dunoo as a pole star among the galaxy of men

My wife and me stayed at the New Buckingham Palace HB for 3N in the early weeks of March 2013. The situation at Srinagar during our stay was unfortunately quite tense, but we were lucky to be under the services of Capt. Hameed. Emphasizing that safety is paramount under the circumstances, Mr. Hameed ensured that we could enjoy as far as possible given the constraints and went to great lengths to make our stay and travel comfortable. From planning our itinerary to accompanying us for our visits outside and within the city, Hameed's experience and guidance was invaluable.
A special mention for Hameed's right-hand man Khalid, whose ever-smiling face and hospitality truly warmed us to the houseboat.
