This beautiful, unique, newly renovated, 3 bedroom luxury duplex apartment (140 square meters / 1,507 square feet) is situated in the heart of central Paris (75001), directly on the gardens of the historic Palais Royal and a short walk across the beautiful gardens from the Louvre Museum. The apartment has three bedrooms (two king,1 queen), 3 FULL baths, one half bath, a double living room, a large fully equipped kitchen open onto the living room, a long balcony directly overlooking the historic Palais Royal, and a lovely terrace with table and chairs overlooking the small street. It is on the 4th and 5th floors of an elegant old Parisian buil...ding that is part of the original Palais Royal, built in the 18th century. The apartment is distributed over two levels. The living room, kitchen, balcony, one bedroom and 1 1/2 baths are on the 4th floor. Two bedrooms, two full baths, and the terrace are on the 5th floor. There is an interior staircase in the living room that leads up to the 5th floor.

The location of the apartment is superb for exploring Paris, shopping and fine dining. The Louvre is around the corner as are the Place des Victoires, the Seine, Blvd. St. Germain, place de la Concorde, Tuilerie Gardens and Place Vendome, all within easy walking distance.

There are many wonderful restaurants, cafes, wine bars, food shops, bakeries and patisseries close by. You will adore your chance to live like a Parisian.

Within easy walking distance of the Louvre museum, the Left Bank, Place des Victoires, rue Montorgueil market, Place Vendome, the Seine, St. Germain des Pres, Place de la Concorde, Tuilerie Gardens.

Metro Palais Royal, a two-minute walk from the apartment, will take you anywhere in central Paris within minutes. A bus stop and taxi stand are around the corner.

One of us will always be there to welcome you at the apartment the day of your arrival, to help you in any way we can, and again to check you out when you leave. You will be greeted with fresh flowers, French wine and croissants.

  8 of us Girlfriends spent a week in Paris, 6 of us stayed in this beautiful apartment, and the remaining 2 stayed in a very charming apartment next door. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk to the Pyramid (entrance to the Louvre), even shorter distance to the Louvre/Palais Royal Metro Stop. The description is totally accurate and the pictures definitely depict exactly what you are about to experience. 3 good sized bedrooms, each with its own wonderful bathroom. Huge soaking tubs, great shower features. Beds were very comfortable. Good amount of closet space and drawer space. The kitchen was very well equipped, we were able to cook in the evenings, while sipping on our wine and sampling the local cheeses. We had 5 days also of excellent maid service. We used the washer/dryer in the apartment, the appliances were very well maintained and looked fairly new. It is a part of the Palais Royal, so beautiful overlooking the gardens. We wonder which dignitaries might have stayed here in our apartment?!! The arcade below provided some great window shopping, ala Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, etc. There is a Monoprix a few blocks away for good grocery shopping, and an all night grocer right across the street. You will be able to walk from here comfortably to the Marais, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Opera Garnier, Latin Quarter, St. Germaine, Musee d'Orsay. This apartment provided the best home base for our 7 day stay. It was nice to all come back to our living room and recap our day, and plan for the next. The owners were always so responsive, had great suggestions on who we could call for shuttle service to/from the airport, private tours of the Louvre, food and open air Markets, a Highlight Tour, and an elegant dinner cruise down the Seine on my Birthday. They also met us with croissants, wine, beautiful floral arrangements. We never had to worry about a thing. We felt very safe in this area. Highly recommend this property to anyone, it was perfect for my celebration. I have been to Paris many times, always staying in Hotels before. This will be the way I travel here from now on. I was fortunate to be able to find this perfect spot.

  Bed bugs!!!

  I usually would not write a negative review, but feel that I must warn future travellers - this apartment has bed bugs!!!
  In fairness to the company, the apartment was otherwise very good - well-equipped and perfectly located, but who wants all this when you are bitten every night (and might even have brought bed bugs home with you).
  If you decide to rent this property, make sure that the bed bug problem has been resolved.

  This apartment is the perfect set-up to accommodate families, a group of girlfriends or three couples because each of the three bedrooms has its own luxurious bathroom. The open floor plan is great for coming together over meals or sharing the day's adventures. The Right Bank location is across the street from the Louvre, and pleasant walking distances from the Tulieries, L'Orangerie, L'Opera, Musee d'Orsay and all the wonderful nooks and crannies of the Left Bank, Ile de la Cite and Ile St. Louis. In addition, the balcony is fun to watch the changing scenes unfold below in the center gardens of the Palais Royale. Plus, the apartment has a phone for unlimited free calls back to the states. With so much high living, you may not want to check in at home. Highly recommend this apartment and management team for living it up at the Palais Royale.
