This property is a fabulous 18th Century stone-built semi-detached cottage, situated in the rolling countryside in Boulby, just three miles from Staithes. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

9 of us and 2 dogs stayed in the cottage for a week in July 12. We have stayed in houses all over UK and France. This was very well equipped with none of the penny pinching that is common in holiday houses. Tons of space. The photos make it look slightly dated due to the carpets in the living room but the rest of the house is very simple and uncluttered. The house is very comfortable all round. Views front and back exceptional, easy drive to Staithes and Whitby and 20 mins or so to Redcar if you want a Tesco. nearby Village has 2 Co-ops for small essentials. Chinese and Pizza shops within 5 minute drive.

We had no problems at all with regard to Booking, payment, finding the property and accessing the keys. The House was excellently equipped, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. We, 6 of us, all enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked a full week in august.

Ours was a very mixed group from an elderly aunt to a 4week old baby and two dogs!! We all thouroughly enjoyed ourselves and the cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We would have prefered a loo downstairs with two small boys! Great time had by all in general.

Very homely, spacious plenty of room for kids to play and a large garden too. Loved the main bathroom it has a great roll top bath with a lovely view - good quality refurbishment of a great house. A friendly & helpful owner too, he helped carry our internet shopping delivery down the hill to the house as the van got stuck in the snow! There is a little village 2 mins drive with pub/co-op/take away etc. You can walk to the cliff edge in about 10 mins.

The house had everything we required and was very comfortably furnished. for us it was the perfect location - enclosed garden , nearby walks and many places of interest to visit within a short car ride.
the owners were friendly and helpful but not intrusive and were tolerant of our large and somewhat noisy group.
I have stayed in many self catering places and this was the best ever -

The service received was excellent, the (once farm)house is renovated to a modern, clean and high standard whilst remaining user-friendly. It is set in a remote part of North Yorkshire, quiet and relaxing. Loved the visiting peacock and varied wildlife around. Local shop and amenities a little distance away.
