This detached cottage is situated in Staithes and sleeps eight people. Stonehaven is a detached, Grade II listed cottage in the fishing village of Staithes. Set over three floors, this cottage sleeps eight people in four people, consisting of one ground floor twin with en-suite shower room, one first floor king-size double, one second floor double and one second floor twin room, as well as a first floor bathroom. The cottage also has a first floor kitchen with dining area, a first floor sitting room and a ground floor second sitting room with kitchen facilities. Outside there is a small rear yard and parking is available nearby. Stonehaven p...rovides a wonderful family base for exploring Staithes, the North York Moors and Whitby.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric storage heater and electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Permits for 2 cars provided in car park at top of bank 2 mins walk uphill, loading/unloading outside property. Small yard. Outdoor furniture at front. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and beach 2 mins walk. Note: There are approx. 12 steps up to first floor entrance door and 3 shallow steps up to ground floor entrance. Note: Mobile phone coverage is poor in Staithes. Note: Ground floor kitchenette contains a sink, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The seaside village of Staithes boasts cobbled streets, pretty houses, cottages, a harbour, high craggy cliffs and a sandy beach set amongst the rocky coastline, as well as a good selection of pubs, shops and tea rooms. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
