Stanhope Beach and Bay Cottage is a beautiful luxury property with three bedrooms and one bath. A fully equipped kitchen, hi def satellite TV, high speed wireless internet, and lots of deck space (with our signature yellow adirondack chairs for morning coffee) makes this your home away from home. Available laundry and a shower in the "bunkhouse" for those sandy beachgoers adds to the package. A National Park Pass is included for your use while staying with us. I recently rented the Stanhope Beach and Bay Cottage for a 10 day stay. I couldn't be happier about my experience. First off, checking in was a breeze. The owners were very accomodating in that regard and when I arrived at the cottage I was greeted with a bottle of wine in the fridge. such a nice touch.
The cottage is beautiful, spacious, well decorated and stayed cool even on hot nights.
It is close to the golf course, beach, restaurants etc. and only about a ten minute drive from Charlottetown. It is in a great location on PEI.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage and are looking forward to booking it again for our stay next summer! -

We spent a week at the Stanhope Beach & Bay Cottage. The owners thought of everything that we might need to thoroughly enjoy exploring the area. The laundry facilities, bikes (with helmets), and the national park pass were all much appreciated. The area is secluded but within minutes of restaurants and a 30-minute drive to markets and shops. This was our first time visiting the Gentle Island and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one caveat is that there is no aC in the cottage so it can get warm in the afternoon, but thanks to the low humidity and ceiling fans it's not hard to cool the rooms after dark. Overall, we recommend the cottage as a great place for a relaxing and restorative stay on PEI.

We just got back from PEI and had a most wonderful experience, largely in part due to our stay at the Stanhope Beach and Bay Cottage. We could not have asked for a more comfortable home away from home. The cottage was spacious, immaculately clean and neat, beautifully decorated, and very centrally located on the island. The cottage has all amenities you could wish for, including high speed internet, full cable television, all necessary kitchen supplies, as well as a grill to have a nice dinner on the deck at sunset. Our host Randy was very gracious and went out of his way to make sure we found everything easily, including greeting us at the airport after a late night flight in order to lead us to the cottage and make sure we would not get lost on our way there (the roads in PEI are not the most well-lit at night). We were easily able to drive to several different points of interest on the island within 30 minutes to one hour from Stanhope, and the cottage is also conveniently located next to a beautiful golf course and harbour. Brackely Beach and parts of the PEI national park are also a ten minute drive from the cottage. Randy even provided us with a national park pass so that we were able to save on entry fees during our stay. We could not have wished for a better stay in all respects. I would not hesitate to go back any day!
