Wonderful hosts providing a modern unit with rural vista. Only a short way from town, but secluded by its location in a wide valley between the mountains.
Watch the stars or watch the sun rise over a glass of the local wine.

I booked at Maric Park for a few days before Christmas as a short getaway to wind down and it was perfect. Very quiet and on a beautiful property.
The cottage was very modern and very clean with modern amenities such as a Nespresso machine.
Small touches were very nice too, fresh juice & yoghurt in the fridge and a freshly baked loaf of bread.
The cottage was run by a very nice couple who were very welcoming but also respectful of privacy.
Will definitely be back.

Had a great weekend at Maric Park, the beautiful cottages have everything you could possibly need. Marion also provided a breakfast hamper with homemade goodies like Bread and Jam.
Good location close to town, and was able to book the Wine Tour to do door to door service.
Recommend it for a weekend escape! -

My partner and I decided to drive down from Brisbane to Stanthorpe one weekend. Maric Park was a beautiful place to relax with a bottle of wine from a local winery a few lamb cutlets on the BBQ supplied and soaked up the peace and quite of the surroundings. We arrived to a smiling face from Eric (the owner) whom showed us to our warm cottage with the fire place already crackling away. Will definitely return.

BrisbaneLovely romantic getaway
Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My husband and I recently stayed a weekend at Mark Park Cottages and absolutely loved it! Eric and Marion, the owners, have done a fabulous job with the cottages. The cottage we stayed in was clean, stylish with all modern fixtures and very comfortable. We loved the cosy fire place and the nespresso coffee machine! The surrounds are quiet and relaxing - there are only 2 cottages on the property. The location is great and it's not a long drive to the centre of town if you are going out for dinner. Extra things that we enjoyed were: the walking track on the property - which is well worth it; and the little movie theatre with extensive selection of movies. The owners are very thoughtful and go out of their way to make your stay special. Marion's breakfast hamper was so lovely - it included home made bread and jam - delicious!! We are already planning our next holiday to Mark Park Cottages. Thank you!!

The service and extras provided by Marion were above and beyond other places we have stayed. Home made bread and jam, vanilla cake and bottle of wine, all inclusive. The cottage was very new and cosy, with a wood burning stove which was very easy to keep going. The location, just out of town ensured peace and quiet, we also enjoyed the bushwalk within the property and kangaroos. Other great benefits were the home cinema and pop corn, all provided by Marion. All in all we had a relaxing and most enjoyable break, and look forward to going back!!

We stayed at the cottage and were just so impressed by how well appointd it was. It is modern and very stylishy decorated. The ambience from walking in the door was beautiful. Waiting for us was a log fire that heated the cottage and created an amazing atmosphere. The Nespresso coffee machine and frother was so very welcome. Inclusions that were thought of were makeup removing cloths, shower caps, homemade plum jam and a beautiful breakfast. The shower was supurb - two shower heads and plenty of room. I could not recommend this place highly enough. From the moment you are welcomeed by Marion and her husband, to the stay and the check out, you are treated with utmost respect and your business is truly appreciated. We will definitely visit again.

We couldn't fault Maric Park- from the amazing location, to the top quality cottage and marvellous hospitality. The home theatre was an added bonus, and the nature walk up the back of the property gave lovely views over Stanthorpe- a perfect place for a proposal! We will never forget our special weekend at Maric Park Cottages!

Albany CreekA class introduction to experiencing Queensland's "Brass Monkey"
Left on 07/12/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Situated in a quite rural setting just several kilometres out of Stanthorpe, Maric Park cottages proved to be the ideal accommodation for us. Newly constructed with modern decor, these cottages completely catered for all our needs. The ladies were very impressed with the state of cleanliness of the cabins. The crisp outdoor conditions were quickly forgotten as we settled for happy hour drinks around the warm fireside that Marian, our host, kept fully stocked while we were out and about during the day.
The cottages, the location and amenities were all first class. Though the supplied breakfast is quite basic and we did experience a very small hic up with the delivery, once Marion was made aware of it she immediately drove into town to purchase the missing items.
We certainly hope to return.

Left on 06/25/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This was our first time to the region and Marion and Eric made it an amazing weekend. They couldn't do enough before our arrival with making dinner reservations, recommending cafes and local attractions.
It's the little touches that truly amazed us such as the espresso coffee machine, the home made jam and bread and the breakfast hamper.
Seeing the frost on the ground in the mornings and the kangaroos and ducks walking peacefully outside the cabin whilst enjoying a glass of red in front of the log fire was a truly amazing experience.
The cabins are absolutely immaculate and the property promises to only get better when the newly planted ornamental pear trees grow.
Hard to believe we were less than 5 minutes from town.
We will definitely be returning.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left Marion was attentive to all our needs. Check in was quick and simple and the quick rundown Marion gave made planning out stay simple. She even check on our fire whilst we were out so that when we came home the cottage was beautiful and warm! The cottages are very nicely equipped. Beautiful leather lounge, luxurious king size bed and the best shower my wife has ever had! For me the standout was the coffee machine. Life is too short for instant coffee! The movie theatre was a real surprise and guess what? Real popcorn prepared by Marion! Unbeatable. All of the above plus Marion's genuine hospitality made this the best mid week break we have had.

We stayed at Maric Park for 3 nights over Easter. We were really impressed with the fitting out and facilities provided in the cottages - a king size bed, good shower, big TV, BBQ and a Nespresso machine. We were only 5km from Stanthorpe so easy to access Girraween National Park, the wineries, restaurants, etc but no noise and wallabies outside our bedroom window one morning. Eric and Marion are friendly and helpful and organised restaurant bookings for us. The last bit of the road before the cottages is dirt so you can expect a dirty car but it is in the bush. Breakfast is provided but we used some of it and took our own muesli as well, because we are fussy about that.

The cottage is beautifully appointed, with careful attention to detail evident everywhere. Marion and Eric are really committed to making their cottages a memorable experience for guests.
The cottages are very close to Stanthorpe and it's restaurants and are very central to the main attractions of the region.
We have stayed in a few Granite Belt cottages over the years and would rate this the best, without doubt. -

This place is off the beaten track and you wake to the sounds of birds.
Well cared for and thoughtfully constructed. New and clean.
We even got a bottle of wine as part of the deal and the breakfast hamper was great.
We loved having breakfast out on the deck enjoying the tranquility -

BrisbaneMaric Park is the perfect location for a relaxing time to visit
Left on 03/10/2012 for a stay in November 2011
Maric Park is a delightful base to explore the attractions of the Granite belt. These lovely luxuriously appointed cottages are 5km east of Stanthorpe township. The location is idyllic. Eric and Marion were welcoming, friendly but not intrusive, and everything about the place was perfect. We enjoyed a stroll along the bush track to the back of Maric Park and enjoying the views of Stanthorpe along the way. Bird watchers would love this place. Doing a "food and wine run" around the district is such fun. I want to show my appreciation as we will be back in winter for the cosy wood fires and beautiful sunsets.

Everything we needed for a perfect 2 night stay was in the cottage when we arrived.
The place was exceptionally clean and inviting.
Included was a basket of breakfast goodies.
The cottage was well laid out and comfortable and the large bed was fresh and comfortable too.
The setting is sort of rural with pleasant views but only about 5 to 10 minutes drive from Stanthorpe.
Stanthorpe is a very interesting and friendly small town and renowned for the fruit that grows in the area.
What we liked the best was the peaceful surroundings yet so near to the town and the friendly comfortable experience in the cottage. -

Left on 03/04/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Me and my wife stayed at Maric Park for five days over the Christmas period last year. Maric Park was highly recommended and certainly exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, away from town, brand new and immaculate. The service was excellent, with Marion going out of her way to make us feel welcome. The cottages were excellently furnished, extremely comfortable and spacious. We have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone and in fact hope to visit soon again.

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012
My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages for two nights. We wanted to have a base and do a bit of sightseeing around Stanthorpe. We were very pleased with the cottage. Clean, private and well furnished. The king size bed had beautiful linens and was very comfortable. Bathroom/Shower was sensational. Nice touches like bottle of wine, Nespresso Coffee Machine, a huge flat screen TV and toiletries. Keep in mind, no oven, but there is a good little Webber on verandah. All in all, a great place to stay!
