The house was so beautiful! There were so many things to do in the house, you did have to leave if you did want to. Hot tub, jacuzzi tub up stairs, cooking, music, tv. Definitely recommend this place to any and everyone!!

This house is awesome! Just one warning… The carpets in the bedrooms are white. The rental agreement did state “no shoes in the house” unfortunately, I didn’t enforce that with the kids, and got charged for cleaning the carpets. My fault. But a bummer. Otherwise, all was great. Would love to stay again, and will definitely enforce the shoe rule.

Great location. Just far enough above the lake for an "in the forest" feel, yet just a few minutes away from all activities. Walkable to the RIM Trail! Very private feeling on rear deck, although this is a neighborhood with some year-round residents. GREAT, huge, comfy sectional couch!

My friends and I had a girls reunion. The house was absolutely perfect, comfortable, and equipped with all we needed for all the cooking. The view was beautiful and the area was very peaceful. Jeren was very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. Overall, fantastic!

The gas stove in the master bedroom was broken, and needed some TLC to get it going. Assistance over the phone got it going.
We also had issues figuring out the French steam shower. The guy who assisted with this was less than professional. He acted annoyed that the all female household could not figure it out. Property management may want to send him to a class on how to treat customers. -

We were very happy with Bear Walk Lodge. We were very close to the Nevada side of Heavenly. We loved the crazy amazing shower upstairs 4 way shower plus sauna and the hot tub outside. Bring your DVDs, for the DVD player. Free wi-fi in the house. No board games, so bring your own. Renovations are still made to the house, so a few patch work here and there. The property manager was great and responded to all our questions promptly.
If we come back to Tahoe, we will definitely stay here again.

This home was so private and peaceful! Every detail inside was indicative of attention and detail. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out! The walking trails, the proximity to beaches and shopping - we just had a blast. High school friends celebrating our 40th birthday - and we could not have picked a better place.
