DenverWe will be back...
Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We stayed at the Stormwatch in #203 and had an awesome time. The condo was amazing, updated and very clean, and close to everything. If we needed to go anywhere, we only had to call the front desk and they would send a free shuttle. The staff was super helpful and had great recommendations on where to eat and play. We really had an amazing time and we will definitely be back!! We highly recommend staying here!

Savage, MarylandSnowboarding trip to heaven with a view.
Left on 01/14/2013 for a stay in December 2012
This review could be biased because it dumped powder the entire time we were there. To us, this condo was a very comfortable slice of heaven on earth with a view of the Christie lifts! I cannot express enough how wonderful the Pioneer Ridge staff, Steamboat Resort staff and the entire town are! If Steamboat didn't have 200+ inches of powder per year, and over 120 inches by the time we got there and an additional 20+ inches while we were there this condo and vacation still would have been excellent. The single hot tub is a little small to serve all the sore muscles of the condo building since everyone else there also spent 6-10 hours on the slopes that day drifting through waist deep powder in one of the bowls. The tv was fine, showers very hot. The only thing our kitchen in SW 212 didn't have was a spatula! Our eggs still got on the plates because we had a talented and resourceful chef. Coffee maker being automatic is a little boost. The view of the slopes from the front balcony and bedroom is amazing! In the snow, in the sun, day or night. The view is fantastic! Our experience is going to be different than everyone else's. That said the building was quiet after 7 just like Pioneer Ridge asked of us and we fell asleep hard by 11 every night and woke up to the most amazing view of the mountain we would tackle that day. We have our next trip back already set to book, waiting on pay day this Friday to pull the trigger!

This place is wonderful. The view of the slopes is amazing. Loved the cozy master suite upstairs and the bathroom has been completely redone and is very nice and modern. Had a magical Christmas there.

Left on 07/11/2012 for a stay in July 2012
I am extremely picky and was absolutely pleased with our stay at Storm Watch. The staff were very responsive and kind. The property was well kept and clean and had everything we needed for a great price. The view from our front porch and the master bedroom were outstanding. We are looking at going back for a family reunion and renting through Pioneer Ridge

Kansas City, MOCondo & Steamboat pros cons...
Left on 08/27/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We were there for our son's baseball tournament. Loved the area and the view was spectacular to wake up too.
The condo itself was great, clean and had everything we could need. Only a few cons that are easily fixable.
Towels...not enough to start with. Get more from the beginning. And didn't seem to be a service, you had to drive to the office to get more.
No laundry was a downfall.
For us: kids got master room, because other bed was in w/ the kitchen/living area. Couldn't put kids to bed and prepare for next day w/ them in the room.
Other than that...it was one of the best baseball vacations we've ever had. It was our first time to Colorado and we loved it! I still miss the view! -

Left on 08/18/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We were at Storm Watch for the Fourth of July weekend. The condo was very comfortable and well equiped to do whatever you were interested in doing for the time we spent there. The views of the mountain were breathtaking and I can only imagine what it would look like in Winter.

We had a very nice time at Steamboat Springs. We were very happy with the place we stayed (very cozy and nice view) and also the staffs were very friendly. The complimentary shuttle service was also very nice! The only thing we would have loved to have was a recycling bin!

Left on 02/05/2010 for a stay in January 2010
The service provided by Pioneer Ridge staff was remarkable. Shuttle service was prompt and courtious. House keeping did an outstanding job.
The home is nicely decorated in local atmosphere. It was exceptionally clean. The view of the mountain and surrounding area was outstanding. Second trip to Steamboat and won't be our last. Love the area and the people.
For the cooks, electric range top is a little tricky to get use to after cooking on gas at home.
Loved the skiing as usual, but could have used ALOT more snow!!! -

Left on 02/03/2010 for a stay in January 2010
The condo exceeded our expectations for the price we paid! The condo we stayed in was nicely updated with plenty of space for my husband and me (It appears that all the condos are decorated differently). The entire staff was very helpful and made it easy to consider staying with them again. We really enjoyed our stay...the only bad thing is that our trip wasn't long enough!

Service
The driver Ty, was wonderful. Informative, casual, great knowledge of the
area, restaurants. He made riding in the van a pleasure.
When we checked in V...(cant remember his name) was nice, although all we
can remember him saying is "If something breaks we will do our best.... if
this happens we will do our best..." I didn't sound accommodating, nor that
something was actually going to be done about our requests.
When making the reservation, that requirements are too strict. Paying in
full prior to arrival, a 50% deposit at time of booking and no chance of
cancellation or change unless insurance was purchased. It seems too strict.
We called twice before actually making a reservation because as sure as we
were about coming (to a wedding) not to be able to make minor changes is
horrible. By offering insurance make you sound like your gauging, more like
a money making machine, than a hospitality company. We all know that
insurance goes straight to the bottom line.
Home
The home was nice. Just enough for what we needed. For how cold it was
it would have been nice to have a comforter, not just thin out dated
blankets and sheets.
Thermostats need looking into as the temperature never seemed to be as
warm as they said. It looks like the home is being remodeled, nice
finishings downstairs, updated bathroom. It will look very nice when the
upstairs bedroom and bathroom is also cleaned up.
Location
Great view. Some shuttles said they couldn't get up there, so it seemed like
the location was inconvenient.
There isn't a really good driving map of either town nor the mountain
village that was given to us.
Best and Least
Being part of a wedding group, it would have been nice to be closer to other
members of the group. When booked we asked what was the closest, and
this was definitely not close.

Left on 01/06/2010 for a stay in December 2009
Wow, what a view of the slopes! Vivian & Rachel from Pioneer were helpful. Ryan deserves lots of kudos--not too many people in the world of his calibur! The granite counters, new downstairs bath and fireplace were marvelous. The hot tub came in handy--thanks! The private shuttle was amazing. You felt as though they wanted to take care of you. You can even be dropped off at Thunder express!
