The condo exceeded our expectations. Great space, amenities, furniture, beds, fireplace, overall location etc...good value overall. If there had been more snow we could've utilized the ski in /out but as it was, we had two beginners who probably couldn't have pulled it off anyway. The view of the slopes was outstanding - so fun watching the late day and early am skiers. My 3 year old was fascinated with the snow blowers and grooming each day. I think the local bird population enjoyed the breakfast we left for them on the balcony each day. Kim is extraordinarily organized in the planning phases and we made it from the airport to the condo and back without a hitch. Thanks Kim for all your hard work! You made the entire trip so easy, and therefore so enjoyable.
Steamboat is a brilliant place for families. I've never seen such a family-friendly resort. the ski school was outstanding. My son is pretty shy in new places but he was eager to get back to school each day.
Loved the private shuttle service. We waited less than 5 minutes, usually 1-2 minutes for a shuttle to / fro town, the condo and the mountain. Very easy, especially since we left our skis at the slopes. The free bus service around town was excellent too. A great adventure for car-bound kids. Superb restaurants downtown - ask locals for their faves.
After we returned home with much raving (it was my husband and son's first ski trip), our neighbors want to join us next year! Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo with us. Kim - let's stay in touch!
