The renovation of the Phoenix continues in 2012 with the attention now mov...ing to the remodeling of the front desk and clubhouse. The new clubhouse will feature a remodeled exercise facility, guest lounge with comfy seating and large flat screen TV, and a business center with complimentary internet access. Mountain Resorts offers winter shuttle service for guests of The Phoenix for trips to the grocery store or downtown Steamboat Springs.This two bedroom, three bath condominium has a two level floor plan. There is seating for six at the large dining room table. The air conditioned living area features warm wood paneling and has a 50" wall mounted flat screen TV with a DVD player and stereo as well as a gas fireplace and a queen size sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed. The second bedroom also has a queen bed.This property is professionally managed by Mountain Resorts, Steamboat's Vacation Expert and the largest locally owned property management company in Steamboat Springs. Our professional front desk staff is available to our guests every day, and check-in is available 24-hours a day in our conveniently located welcome center on Mt. Werner road.   This condo had a garage beneath it from which we were able to enter the condo--very convenient. Was also on a main road serviced by a free bus, and just a short walk down the hill to a great Mexican restaurant and small grocery/deli/wine store open until well into the evening. Also a ski rental shop. Very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped, the windows in the living room/kitchen looked to the east so were very nice in the morning, there was a gas fireplace for warmth--a very comfortable place to stay. Private bathrooms for the bedrooms (which were downstairs) and another upstairs. Would certainly recommend. The bedrooms could be a bit chilly because the baseboard heat didn't seem to work consistently--but there were plenty of comforters, blankets, etc. Not a big issue.
