We booked our unit through Mountain Resort Reservations and were able to see exactly what we were getting. We traveled with another family and the bedroom configuration was important. On the web site they break each unit down by property, bedrooms and include photo's from the unit.
Our unit had lovely 3 bedrooms/3 full bath and 1 stall garage. It was clean, spacious, kitchen was well equipped, and we loved the 2 decks and the bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. The views of the mountain and valley were beautiful.
The Ranch has 2 stand alone covered hot tubs and a combo pool/hot tub. The kids really loved hoping from tub to tub.
Private on call shuttle service to/from the mountain and town was a real bonus. The shuttle wait was never more then 5 minutes during the ski season and a quick 5- 8 minute ride to/from the slopes.
The only negative thing I have to say about our stay was that the cleaning staff. They never brought clean kitchen towels, toilette paper, soap or shampoo. They also needed to show up after 10:30, not between 9-10 when we were trying to get out the door. -

Our family had a great time at The Ranch at Steamboat. We had 7 people in our group. The layout of the condo was very nice,clean and decorated well. My husband liked that we had the master bedroom/bathroom upstairs along with a sitting area with a nice desk for his computer. The other two bedrooms downstairs were very nice, however, the bunk bed room is very small. We had a small maintenance issue when we got there, but the maintenance crew took care of the problem right away. The staff at The Ranch are all amazing. The shuttle service is incredible. You just call and let them know your group is ready to be taken downtown or to the mountain and they are there almost immediately! Although the condo is not a ski in/ski out, we actually prefer this location because the shuttle drops you off at Terry's where you can rent and store your skis. From there you can ski down to the Gondola instead of walking.We will definitely stay at The Ranch again!

We had a very nice time at Steamboat this year, even if the snow was a little thin. The service was fantastic-hardly ever had to wait for a shuttle,and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The condo that we stayed in was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was not within walking distance to the slopes but we could seem them from our window and the shuttle was always available when we needed it.
