Loved it
Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We loved our time at this property. It worked very well for our group of 6 (3 couples). The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was great and well stocked, and the views off the balconies were fantastic. Ski-in, ski-out worked pretty well (not ideal, but good); there was decent snow. Stairs were a bit rough, but the hot tub was great. Kim was an exceptional host. We loved our time at this condo and look forward to booking again!

Directions to the condo were good, drove right to it. The layout of the condo was good, everything you needed was there. Just make sure you are in pretty good shape to climb up three flights of stairs. The shuttle service was good, usually only had to wait around 10 minutes, not too long a drive to ski area. Was a little disappointed as it was advertised as a ski in/ski out, would have taken a little work and a very good skier to have done that.

Left on 04/03/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Great condo we really were very comfortable. Snow was not so good but could see how ski in and out could be possible with better snow. Reserving condo was easy and pleasant. Kim was very knowledgable and helpful. The master bath was awesome, only advice I would say would be to turn up the water heater. Only one person per day got a hot shower and the condo is set up for eight. Thanks so much for the use of your beautiful condo.

Hi Nancy
thanks for the review. You should of told me there was a problem with the water heater. It is a 60 gallon tank so 6 people should be able to take long showers with no problems. When a thermostat fails in a water heater, it will only give so much hot water. I bet that is the problem even though there was another group after you that didn't say anything about the hot water so I'll check into it. I can't fix things if I don't know about them. Thanks again for coming to Steamboat. -

This condo is superb in every aspect, and the service by Condos in Steamboat is topnotch. The kitchen is fully equipped, everything was beautifully done, and the welcome basket was an added bonus. Good location, good view, and easy transportation links.

Everything from start to finish was great. The property manager (Kim) stopped by because she noticed we needed grilling utensils. She is a great source of information. The condo itself was very comfortable and quite soundproof. No noise from above or below. Quite a few stairs but since most people are probably there to ski I wouldn't think it would be an issue. The garage on the ground floor for ski equipment was very convenient. The hottub was nice as well. I couldn't think of anything else I would have wanted or needed. Thanks!

I traveled with my husband, two young girls, and sister/brother-in-law and this trip satisfied everyone in our group! My husband and BIL are black diamond skiers and are interested in varied ski terrain. My SIL is interested in nice accomodations and requires a hot tub and in-unit W/D. My kids want their own space to play inside and out. Steamboat and the Norwegian Log were PERFECT. The location was amazing. It was to the side of the bunny slopes and there was easy access from the condo door to the slopes. And because it was just off the slopes, there was a hill and flat area for the kids to play. We sledded, had snowball fights, rolled around, made angels, etc. Last year we stayed right at the base of another mtn and there was no area right outside for the kids to play. The gondola went right over the condo so the kids started getting excited when they would see the lift start up in the morning and they enjoyed just riding the gondola up and down and looking for our condo. The condo itself was amazing. It was very spacious, the newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms fancier than what we have at home. The grill on the balcony and the W/D were top of the line. And finally, Kim was such a wonderful resource. She gave us tips on car rental, outings for the kids, grocery shopping. She made us feel as if SS was happy we were there. There was a welcome basket with wine and lots of the little things were provided which is not usually the case-- laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, bath soap, a stocked games cabinet and sleds, discount cards for the grocery stores in town. Kim really thinks of all the little things and is always available with advice and solutions to problems. To me, it was Kim's personal attention that made the difference. But my husband would prob say it was the great skiing-esp the double black diamonds and my BIL would say it was the amazing shower in the master bath with 4 shower heads. The kids would say the hot springs in town and the sleds.

The condo was excellent. Kim made the time in Steamboat effortless for us. If we asked she did her best to accomodate our requests. The only thing is that the condo was not truly ski-in ski-out, but the shuttle service made up for it. Ususally the shuttle was at our door stpe within 15 minutes of call and dropped us at the fornt door of the slope. Overall the condo was great and so was Kim

Glad you enjoyed your time at Norwegian Log. This unit is classed as ski-in, ski-out and everyone that stayed this winter was able to ski-in and out just fine. Depending on your ski ability and day to day snow conditions, I can see the beginner having trouble skiing in/out. This past winter was not the best snow conditions.

Excellent location and facilities right on the slope. You could not ask for more.
As soon as you walked through the door it felt like a home and not a holday apartment. A perfect spot to relax after a good days skiing.
Access to the local amenities were made easy with the excellent shuttle service provided.
The only thing we could fault was having to go home! We WILL be back for sure. -

Cambridge, United KingdomA 'must stay' Condo - highly recommended
Left on 08/10/2009 for a stay in March 2009
I recently stayed in this Condo with some friends and we loved it. This condo is based in a fantastic location in Steamboat with wonderful views over the mountains. It is clean, nicely decorated and, best of all, it really feels like a 'home away from home'.
Even though there was 8 of us staying in this Condo, we liked the fact that there was plenty of space for everyone and it was not cramped at all.
We usually ski in Europe and this was our first trip skiing in the USA, but it will certainly not be our last. We absolutely loved Steamboat. It was brilliant for skiing and we loved the Gondola Square, which had some great restaurants and bars. We also found that Steamboat was very reasonably priced compared to the European resorts that we have visited recently.
We would definitely stay in this condo again as it was a perfect location and we loved the fact that it had access to a minibus service. You simply gave the minibus a call and it picked you up and took you wherever you wanted to go without having to wait for ages. This was an invaluable service for our non-skiers at it meant they also had a great holiday and could explore town at their leisure. -

London, U.K.Great Condo

Loved this spacious condo with its fabulous views. Slept 8 adults comfortably, all the amenities you could wish for including intenet, the master bathroom is superb. Excellent service from the managing agent and we even had a bottle of wine left for our arrival. Located in a quiet area (i.e. no noisy bars etc. anywhere near) The ski in and out worked well and for the beginners the on call shuttle was brilliant to get them to the base area in minutes. No need for a car as the shuttle gets you downtown in the evening (lots of restaurants/shops etc.) and even drops you at the local Safeway. First trip to Steamboat and we loved this town. well worth the drive from Denver. We will return.

Our group of 8 stayed in the condo for a week's skiing in Steamboat Springs.
It was our first time in Steamboat. The skiing was incredible, the town so quaint, the people so friendly and the condo totally amazing.
The condo was spacious (easily fitted all 8 of us), spotlessly clean, had everything you needed in it and the agent' (Kim)service both before we arrived and during our stay was nothing short of exceptional.
We loved the fact you ski and out onto the slopes from the front door and the hot tub was so much fun. Having broadband internet access was a real plus too
The on-call shuttle was brilliant. We used it many times to go to restaurants in town.
We cannot wait to rent this unit next year, if there is any space left as it fills up so fast.
