We have stayed in this unit several times because we love the managers - Kim and Dan. They are the best. Always make sure the unit is in superior condition with everything you need to be comfortable for your stay. The unit is in a great location. It always feels like we are coming home. We know we will be back again.

Kim Filler has taken vacation rentals to an exceptionally high level. Every element of the experience is exceptional. S31 has been a favorite of ours for about 10 years and continues to be improved. The comfort and convenience of the unit is unparalleled.

Left on 06/04/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Our stay at the Terraces was outstanding. The unit we stayed in (Terraces 2) was updated, charming, clean and very comfortable for us and our 3 and 5 year olds. The unit is walkable to ski school, and we pulled our youngest in a sled (found it at the condo) to and from the mountain. Kim at Condos in Steamboat was very detail-oriented and helpful throughout our stay, with suggestions for ski rentals, restaurants, etc. We felt very well taken care of! And, of course, we loved the complimentary chips and salsa after our long day of traveling, as well as other little freebies that made our arrival at the condo welcoming. Overall, we loved it and can't wait to go back! Thank you, Kim!

We loved our stay at the Terraces. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. This was our first visit to Steamboat and Kim was always available if we had a question and I felt she went out of her way to make sure we were pleased with our stay. I really can't say anything bad about the experience. We had an amazing time and will definitely be calling Kim when we return to Steamboat!

This condo is nicely equipped and decorated and was very clean. Love the views. It's location is convenient with only a short walk to the slopes. Every detail was taken care of as promised including extra keys and the discounted lift tickets. I highly recommend this condo. Kim did a fantastic job advising me prior to our trip as well. She is terrific.

Left on 05/22/2010 for a stay in February 2010
This is the 4th time we have stayed at The Terraces and the 3rd in this condo.
The location is very good - a fairly easy walk to the gondola and the shuttle is always available if you don't want to walk.
Having access to a ski locker at the base also helps.
The condo is very comfortable, well appointed and is very well maintained.
Beds are very comfortable which helps after a day on the slopes.
Kay and Sarah who love to cook are very happy with the kitchen and all the utensils you could need are available.
The BBQ on the balcony helps with cooking the great steaks you have in the US.
Kim from Condos in Steamboat ensures everything you could possibly need is provided and is always obliging with any request.
We will be back in February 2011.

Monticello, ILA Nice Surprise
Left on 04/28/2009 for a stay in January 2009
I have never ski'd before, but my husband did prior to our marriage. What a surprise when he came home from a charity golf outing saying he bid/won a silent auction for a condo in steamboat... my thought was OMG! After spending a fortune on ski clothes (you have to look right!), getting the kids and pets settled with my parents, us and another couple were off to Colorado. We flew into Denver, and had a nice easy drive up to steamboat (no extra baggage fees on southwest and only $59 each way from Indianapolis). Upon arriving to the condo, access into the parking garage with our pre-delivered keys to our house, gave us exactly what we needed, a place to park the car until we could occupy the unit because it had been rented up until the day of our arrival. Its a very short walk to Gondola Square and all of the ski amenities and some restaurants (we really liked the Mexican across the pathway heading towards the ski resort). Once we got into the unit, it was very nice with the gas fireplace, basic amenities and "starter" packages of some items that helped until you went to the store. In the bathrooms they even had REALLY NICE razors from a sample pack if you chose to use them. The shuttle back and forth to the resort was exactly as described. Spa was good and hot, plenty of towels, nice access via the garage so only a few steps from door to spa entrance. Although we will be gone to a wedding during next year's golf outing the husband is already recruiting who is going to do our bidding for us so we get this condo again. Thanks so much to the owners... I might get to use my new Spyder ski jacket again after all! Would recommend this condo to any of my best friends. Book early our date choices were limited.

Brisbane AustraliaVery comfortable condo
Left on 04/23/2009 for a stay in January 2009
This is the second time we have rented a condo through Kim.
Her service and understanding of our requirements is excellent and nothing is too difficult for her.
The condo is very well appointed, all conveniences and very comfortable.
Just bring yourselves, your ski gear and a camera. That is all you need.
A short stroll to the gondola or private shuttle makes it very convnient.
Condo gets a bit warm on sunny days but it is pretty easy to get the place cool in winter.
We have booked the condo to stay in again next year so it must be OK. -

Bethesda, MDGreat fishing, skiing and manager (Kim)
Left on 04/14/2009 for a stay in March 2009
The unit was spacious, clean, and very nicely appointed with exceptional attention to detail. Lots of windows. Four of us (two grown ups, two teenagers)were very comfortable in the rooms. Some days we walked to the slopes, and some days we took the shuttle. The Terraces Shuttle was very responsive, and the drivers were informative and helpful with restaurant and activity recomendations. It was warm the first two days so we fished right in town and caught two beautiful brown trout. We called the manager, Kim, a couple of times with logistical questions and she was very helpful. Check in and Check out were a breeze. We would definitely return.

Terraces 2 is an exceptional place to stay. Very well equipped with many extra for convenience. The shuttle of courses makes this easy to get anywhere. We love the first week of February since its Winter Carnival time when you can really see how the town comes alive with its rich traditions of community. We've been coming to Steamboat for about 10 years running and have stayed here most of those times. Kim Filler is an extraordinary 'inn keeper'. You can't go wrong booking through her.

Room to spare
Left on 06/08/2008 for a stay in January 2008
We stayed about a week with 2 young children (ages 2 and 7) and it was our first trip to Steamboat. We used a shuttle service to get from the airport 45 min away. Everything was clean and at least as nice as advertised when we arrived, and the goodie bags were a welcomed touch.
It was nice to have the kitchen and all the common areas we might not have had in a hotel so that we could take things at an easier pace. We bought groceries at the market within walking distance so we could have breakfast and snacks. We also used the pool and hot tub a couple of times.
The only warning I would give people is that it's a bit far to walk to the base of the ski resort for little kids. We used a sled or carried them. For adults and older kids, it's no problem. I recommend using a locker at the hill to store as much as possible.
Overall, we would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed the condo. The Terraces comes with a free private shuttle that picks you up and drops you at the gondola transit center. I was surprised to hear you walked since you did have small kids.
For an adult, the walk it only 225 yards or the private shuttle will drive you.
Hope to see you back in Steamboat again soon. -

We had a great experience with the rental of this property. It was well stocked and even had wine and snacks as a welcome gift. The views from the condo are beautiful overlooking the mountains. We used the free shuttle and had great service while in Steamboat. The unit is also within walking distance of the ski village. The staff that manages this condo meet every expectation in regards to our early arrival and other details.
