It is hard to narrow the experience down to a few words, but I'll try. Steamboat Springs is so beautiful to begin with and when you have Edelweiss Chalet to call home for a few days, it is a dream. When we arrived we were met and walked through the home of 8000 square feet to make sure we were comfortable with how the home operated. The hot tub, the theater and the kitchen were fabulous. As we stayed at the home we speculated that this home must have been a parade of homes model. One of the girlfriends is a designer and made note of the special touches that gave the home a model home feel. Fall is a very special time and the views from this home were grand.
We were met one evening by a special guest as we returned from Steamboat Hot Springs...a black bear who seems to love Edelweiss as much as we do was there to greet us. He was a little shy and retreated to the bushes but not before being caught on film and video. We also were greeted by a fox ,a deer and a porcupine. We were delighted to be able to interact with the nature that surrounds Edelweiss Chalet.
Debra and Time were a special host for our group and we appreciated their hospitality and generosity to allow our group of eight to vacation in their home. They followed up at every step of the way to ensure our time there was perfect.
I can only say that if you have the opportunity to visit Edelweiss Chalet, you should do just that because you won't be
disappointed!
Thanks again for the memories and our "Girlfriend Weekend".

This home is everything that we could've hoped for. We had a large group and we had plenty of room to spread out and never felt crowded.
The owners have thought of everything from extra towels for the hot tub to any utensil you could possibly need in the gourmet kitchen. The house has large windows throughout the house making it easy to take in the beautiful mountain views.
The house is located within minutes of many restaurants, stores and the downtown shopping area.
The owners were extremely welcoming and quickly got back with me any time I emailed or called them with a question prior to our stay. Nice to have this level of customer service!
I would highly recommend this home to any large family or group. Great value for the luxury accommodations we received. -

When we arrived the manager was there to welcome us and showed us the home and the outdoor hot tub was filled. The home is so comfortable. Super clean! It was nice to have floors heated with radiant heat and a separate thermostat for each room. The location is wonderful. You can ski in and ski out. You are on the top of the mountain and have the greatest views from every room in the house. We will definitely come back and we had no complaints about anything.

Debra was kind enough to offer us a free night lodging during the off - early-summer-season for a Family reunion with ~18 of our closest family members. The location was superb for getting the family out to enjoy the outdoors while also having ample space to host a great surprise birthday party and enjoy some raucous family card games. The chalet is well kept and well managed - exceeded our expectations. The location is close enough to town in order to get out and enjoy Downtown, Steamboat, has a variety of different hiking and biking trails nearby. We enjoyed the spot and I'm sure would like it even more in the winter months as its proximity couldn't be closer to the lifts at the resort. We hope to stay again in the future.

This house was an absolute dream. Even though it was only the two of us in this big house, a family or families would really enjoy the multiple kitchens, bedrooms, baths with all the space to roam without being on top of each other. Beautiful views from every window. An absolute treat to cook in the kitchen that was well appointed.
Tim & Debra are also great to deal with as you are dealing with the owners, not a property management group. Its more personable and feels more like you've been invited to stay at a family vacation home...I could go on, but you get the idea. We'll be back! -

i dont think i have ever stayed in a more beautiful, cleaner, accomadating, spectacular home in my life!!! we have traved to many places and stayed in many homes by rental, but this house takes the cake!!! we stayed with another family and their children, 4 adults and 7 children, and we had more space than we could have possible ever have needed. the views were breath taking from every room of the house, and the house is breath taking to look and on the inside!!! we felt like royality during our stay, it was hard to come home to our own house!!! i give this house a million stars!!!

I would like to thank you for the use of your lovely home in Steamboat during the first week of august this year. It was the perfect home for our family of fifteen for a wonderful, relaxing week spent together in the mountains.
Our family has gone to Steamboat for a week each august for twelve years and this was our best trip ever, thanks to you. As my husband Mack and I arrived, we immediately saw the scripture passage which set the tone for our entire stay. As Christians, we realized that we were staying in another believer's home which was a real blessing.
Your quality built home especially impressed our builder/engineer son, and the house was planned and furnished to accommodate a large number of people. With two of everything imaginable (dishwashers, toasters, etc.), we lacked nothing! Each family was able to have his/her own space, and the numerous living areas were perfect for card games, pool playing, reading, visiting, etc. Our family was impressed with the quality of furnishings, and we treated you home as carefully as we would our own.
I hope that we will be able to stay in your wonderful home again when we visit Steamboat during the summer. Please know that you ministered to others by renting your home to us. We wish you much happiness and success in the future.
