This 2600 square foot private home sits in a wonderful subdivision close to the slopes and offers beautiful views of the ski mountain. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything to cook a family feast and includes a bar that seats 4 as well as a wine fridge. The dining room provides a nice view of the surrounding neighborhood and also gains access to the large outdoor deck. The dining room table sits 8 people. The spacious living room comes with a wood burning fireplace, HDTV and hardwood floors. There are 4 bedrooms with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds. Each bedroom features a flat screen TV. Everyone in our group was amazed at the high quality of the Landings 2615 house for a very reasonable price. Everything was clean and neat and there was lots of room for everyone. The kitchen was fantastic...we cooked in just about every night and never had a problem finding whatever pots, pans, and dishes we needed. We used the grill on the deck to cook some delicious steaks and brats. The most popular item in the house was the hot tub on the deck...it quickly filled up each afternoon as people returned from the slopes.
To compliment the fabulous house was the entire Pioneer Ridge management team. They were very helpful and responsive to any needs or questions we had and they went out of their way to accommodate our changing needs. Most helpful was the shuttle service that we used to quickly and easily get out large group to and from the gondola area everyday. The next time we travel to Steamboat we will definitely contact Pioneer Ridge.
Finally, as important as the house and management company are, when you're going on a ski vacation it still comes down to the resort. Steamboat is a fabulous place to ski, for all ability levels. We put our two children, ages 9 and 6, into snowboarding and ski lessons for the first time. After 3 days of lessons our entire family was able to ski together on the blue runs around the Sunshine Express.
We look forward to returning next year, and the year after that, and the year after that...
