We stayed in the combined Black Bear/Brown Bear chalets for a week over Christmas and had a wonderful time! The chalets have a great layout, location, and are perfect for our large family (17 people). We had the full service catering package, too, and I would really recommend that. The staff (Karen, Raul, Britnay, Connor, and alex) were all so nice and helpful.

We came here with a total of 7 motorcycle friends for a short 2 night stay in Steamboat. Had a great time: reception was great (thanks to Elisabeth from Moving Mountains!), very well organized in advance (had all necessary amenities pre-ordered, like breakfast and drinks in the fridge, spa program in town etc.) The option to book both parts of the house, then hosting up to 20 people, is very interesting for family gatherings etc. We had a nice and comfy self home-cooking event that night with 10 people - no problem with the large and well-equipped kitchen and dining room! The bunk room is a blast for kids-see pictures on the website.

We had a wonderful stay with Moving Mountains at the Black and Brown Bear Chalets. The service was incredibly friendly, responsive and accommodating to our specific needs. The house was perfect for our family gathering with kids of all ages and a terrific location near the base of the mountain close to all activities. We will definintely be back. Thank you Moving Mountains!

What a great place for families to spend quality
time in Steamboat. The rooms are large and
spacious with the living/dining room/kitchen area
just perfect for all the laptops, pizzas, movies
and games. The hot tub right off the dining room
deck gave our teenagers privacy and yet we still
felt like they were part of the family activities.
The Moving Mountain Chalet catered to our every
need which made all of us feel pampered. If you're
skiing and decide to go tubing or to the movies
later in the evening just one call to Moving
Mountain and it was taken care of. Definitely
recommend the chalet and our family is already
booked for next year!
