Lookout Lodge is a custom log home completed just a few years ago. Our "Western King of the Castle" is truly a unique mountain residence.
Large timbers and a giant log truss form the structure of the impressive dining room with seating for 12 and has a lounge area for hors d’oeuvres.
Just off the dining room is the expansive, professional kitchen with granite counter tops and top of the line appliances offering all that a chef could want.
From the kitchen one enters the large great room with spectacular, panoramic views of the valley and inviting fireplace. There is also an island for casual dining or afternoon tea.

Lookout Lodge is a beautiful chateau with excellent appointments. The real surprise is the service provided by Moving Mountains. A+ all around, excellent organization and attentive employees. Highly recommend Moving Mountains at Steamboat.

Our family had the most remarkable vacation at this beautiful home. The furnishing were comfortable, well thought out and top of the line. The personal service from Moving Mountains made our stay so easy. Any little glitch was quickly corrected with a smile. Everyone could not have been nicer. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a luxury vacation. Hope to return soon.

We stayed at the home with 2 other couples and our kids ages 7-11. The house is incredible. There is space for everyone, a view to die for, and a location that is 5 minutes to anything and everything!
The house is incredibly well laid out with 2 masters, en suite baths in all the rooms, a separate kids den downstairs, theatre, pool room up stairs, and hot tub on the deck. A beautiful chef's kitchen and a grill completed our beautiful rental. It made for a perfect ski week!! A five star vacation, to say the least! -

Lookout Lodge is a wonderful home with a tremendous amount of amenities for guests. The main living area/great room/kitchen was our favorite place to spend quality time with friends and family. If you like to cook and enjoy large group meals, this is the home for you!
We really enjoyed our time at LOL and would recommend this home to all who are looking for a fantastic lodge in Steamboat that offers great accommodations, terrific access to the area and wonderful service by the Moving Mountain team. We only left the home to ski, purchase food and drink and rent movies. It was just to nice to leave it for any other reason.

I rented Lookout Lodge for my family and it was one of the best vacations of our lives. The chalet exceded our already high expectations in every aspect.The setting and views were breathtaking from each window and balcony. The home it self was unbelievable,even though all the pictures on the website showed it was going to be great, they in no way captured the true beauty and magnificence of this place. It truly was the ultimate mountain chalet. The home had every imaginable ammenity. The furnishings were only of the highest quality and the condition of the home was immaculate. This is definitely one of those places you need to see to believe. Dealing with the Moving Mountains folks was as enjoyable as the chalet.Everyone could not have been more helpful and accomodating from the owner and office personnel to the drivers.It was a totally ultimate and awesome experience. I would love to do it again and definitely recommend Lookout Lodge and Moving Mountains to anyone. I am glad I was fortunate enough to have had and shared this experience with my family.We have made memories that will last a lifetime.

Perfect. That essentially sums it up. Exceptional layout for families with plenty of space for everyone to spread out or hang together. Fantastic kitchen for eating in and making big breakfasts and dinners. Great place and super relaxing/inviting.

This was is the most beautiful log home I have ever stayed in. With the incredible views, the cozy screening room, fireplaces, hot tub, luxurious steam room and a gourmet kitchen, we felt like royalty. There were 14 of us in the group and everything from the long dining room table to the five bedrooms was more than accommodating, not to mention the personal touches that warmed and inspired. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable holiday.

What can I say, if you're looking for the ultimate experience were it's all about you, then Moving Mountains has what you're looking for. We stayed at one of their chatels in Steamboat Springs, Lookout Lodge. If you want the most opulent place to stay Lookout Lodge is the place, it's one of kind. It was the most fantastic vacation I have taken in a long time.
We stayed there with 2 kids and 3 adults with plenty of room to spare. The home was fantastic, with ammneties most would find only in their dream home.
The service and the staff was exceptional as they catered to our every need, helped us get around, make reservations and just did everything for us so that we could enjoy our vacation to the fullest.
If your going to Steamboat Springs and you want a vaction where you only have to relax and have fun then you need Moving Mountains, they're the best!! -

Went with two other families (total of six adults and five kids). Beautiful home with plenty of space. Kids loved the home theater, the wii, hot tub, and pool table. Location is very convienent to the mountain and shopping (both are no more than 5 minutes away). Would definetly return.
