Littleton, MaGood Value for a Slopeside Condo

This condo delivered as advertised. The condo is right on the trail and is ski in-ski out. You can also walk to the base area from the condo. The building is a little dated but this unit was warm and inviting. The unit was clean and updated recently with modern appliances and television. It is perfect for a couple looking for a good slopeside value. The only downside was moving in and out of the unit for the week. The building layout is kind of funky making the walk a little long with luggage and gear through the building from the parking lot to the unit. The upside, was the unit was a short jaunt down two flights of stairs to the slopes each day. We rented this unit through Grey at Steamboat Rentals By Owner. He was great to deal with and was very accomodating to make sure our trip was a success.

Thanks for the compliments! I definitely take pride in making sure that everyone has a great vacation - we all work hard to earn them, so they should be just what we want them to be! Just so everyone knows - from the parking lot to the unit, you walk into the building, go down the elevator, go to the end of the hallway, down a flight, and then down the hallway to the condo. It's an older building & the layout could have been designed better to provide elevator service to all floors directly... The condo was clean and we loved the ski-in and ski-out; the only negative is the building has a strange setup and it's difficult to find one's condo or exit doors the first day.

Run was just outside the building and that made for a nice experience, located on a green run. The room was outdated compared to others in the area and we found them to be more economical. The kitchen sink was filthy and was able to clean it up with comet. Even though we just slept in the room, it's nice coming back to an enjoyable room. The shuttle service was excellent.

The location is definitely the best part about this condo. It is a little rough getting to the condo (especially with all your ski gear and luggage) from the parking lot ... but once you are at the condo it is just 2 flights down to the ski slopes. The furnishings are nice and the kitchen was well equiped. The sleeper sofa is pretty rough to sleep on if you are an adult. We ended up putting our kids in the bedroom so we could watch movies after they went to bed. I would recommend either getting a better sleep sofa or getting a TV/DVD player for the bedroom to make this better for families using this condo. Also, some general directions on the best way to get to the condo from the parking lot would be helpful (down the elevator to 4th floor, across bridge, down hallway and then down to 3rd floor and down the hall ... would have been helpful). The bus service was very good and a nice bonus. One note if you are tall, the shower head in the bathroom is fairly short (I am 5'7" and it was tall enough for me, but would be rough for someone 6 feet or over).
