Reflexology (Foot Massage)

The massage of the reflex zones on the foot is a centuries old holistic process with roots in ancient China.

The reflex zones are well-defined areas on the feet. Each zone corresponds to a specific organ or part of the body. By applying massage pressure to a reflex zone, stimulation is transmitted along the meridian to the corresponding organ. This results in the improvement of the circulation of blood in both the reflex zone as well as the related organ. This is a very effective holistic process and a special form of health care.

Location:
An excellent home base for spa treatments and outdoor activities. The farmhouse is situated in the beautiful valley of the River Rot (Rottal), in the middle of the picturesque country side surrounded by hills, ponds and forests. The central and yet peaceful location makes it an ideal starting point for day trips and walks.
To ensure a most pleasant and comfortable stay, sitting areas are lavishly provided as well as a barbecue site, a Kneipp pool, a Sinnes-Parcours path, and a swimming pool. Enjoy the sauna, the whirlpool, and the massage shower anytime—no need to wait for bad weather.

History
The farmhouse in Rechenberg has been in family ownership since 1759. In 1759 the farmhouse was sold by the then owners Freiherr Ludwig von Berlichingen and Gustav Christop Graf von Deg Schonburg. It was bought by Andreas Schef for 3600 florins. He turned it into what was for those times a superb business.
The iron hammer of Rechenberg was in use until 1915. After the death of her brother and the leaseholder, Katherina Rosina Gehring née Schaeff closed the forge and concentrated on the farming business.
In 1940 the pond opposite the forge was drained. From 1970 onwards the farm was only run as a sideline. In 1990 began the restructuring of the forge into a dwelling house and rented flats.
From 2006 onwards the complete premises were rebuilt as holiday flats and a wellness hotel. The parkland was redesigned as an oasis of tranquillity.
Guests can relax and rejuvenate in the health park and spa facilities. The Brenner family looks forward to your visit.

You can also relax at the Limes Therme baths in Aalen or at the wave-pool in Ellwangen.

Directions:
Highway A6 exit 46 Satteldorf—follow the B290 towards Crailsheim. In Crailsheim take the B 290 towards Ellwangen. After about 12 km turn left towards Stimpfach. Drive through Stimpfach towards Rechenberg, at the end of the village turn right towards "Hammerschmiede".
Highway A7 exit 112 Dinkelsbühl/Fichtenau—turn left towards Crailsheim after 300 m turn left into a small forest road. On entering Wäldershub turn right towards Krettenbach. Downtown Krettenbach—turn left towards Rechenberg, just before the start of Rechenberg turn left to "Hammerschmiede".
