Mein aufenthalt bei Wally & Maire war im vergangenen Jahr, ich erinnere mich aber immer noch gerne an diesen verwunschenen Flecken. Opito Bay ist die letzte ansammlung von Häusern, direkt am Pazifik, die man über eine teils unbefestigte schmale Küstenstraße erreicht. Bei Flut kann schon mal ein Stück unter Wasser stehen und die Straße für einen normalen PKW kurzfristig unpassierbar machen. Das war bei meinem aufenthalt aber mein Glück, dadurch konnte ich ohne weitere ausflugsvorhaben den fantastischen ausblick aufs Meer, vom kleinen aber feinen Pacific Room unter dem Dach, den Spaziergang am Strand und die Gastfreundschaft inkl. des Essens von Maire in aller Ruhe genießen. Ein reizvolles Hide away. Die Gastgeber sind etwas älter, unkompliziert und sehr hilfsbereit.

the apartment was comfortable, spacious and clean. Situated close to the bus stop in a very pleasant suburban setting. there was a supermarket just around the corner. the breakfast selections were a little limited. The service was friendly. The only negative was the low range noise from the bowling alley. This was only really noticeable on the friday night.

Well coming and kindness at the reception.The appartment was very clean and a warm place to stay. All you need is available. The bus line n°1 is very closed to the home so that you can go to center city easily. In a word perfect !

Loved the room, loved the service and level of hospitaity received, would definitely stay here again.
I have only 2 minor points of complaint, 1) With this not being a wi-fi enabled room, the available data ports were not very well placed at all and could do with being placed closer to the bed or lounge to make using them easier.
2) The cooking utensils supplied were a little too basic and items such as an oven mitt were not supplied.
These are both minor points for review and i would happily stay there again, look forward to visiting you again soon

this was a great place to stay, slightly expensive but i think that is the norm for this city. front of house staff were friendly and helpful and the room was exactly what we wanted - even had a dishwasher which we didnt expect! the only down points were that the linen was changed every 5 days, which was a long time in my opinion (i used to work in a hotel in the past) and when the housekeeping staff came to change, they didnt bother knocking, just opened the door! if you stay here, use the "do not disturb" sign until you are ready to leave the room. having access to a laundry was a real bonus.

As hotels in Stockholm are very expensive, we thought this apartement would be a great alternative. And it was! Good beds, fine bathroom (minor problem with fixing of showerhead), beautiful little kitchen with everything you need: microwave, coffeemachine, watercooker, toaster, fridge and dishwasher (however not enough tableware to effectively use the dishwasher). With the busstop right out front, it was easy enough to go to town and if you like a walk it's no problem to walk there either.
The only thing is that the cleaning was kind of ad hoc (as we see it). We stayed for a week and she only came on the 5th day. In the meantime we had to ask for clean towels at the reception. One receptionist told us that this would give additional cost, another said it would not. (It didn't in the end.)
The neighborhood is fine and surrounded by a nice parc.
Going to Stockholm? I can recommend these apartments! -

Good location, fantastic staff, modern and well-equipped but feels less like an apartment, more like a hotel. Bass noise from venue below may disturb. Not suitable for someone who wants an ordinary apartment experience.
