I was touring Scotland with 3 family members and stayed at The Castle Stables for a few days ,.What a lovely place .The grounds are a delight and our accomadation was clean ,comfortable and attractive,a special treat was the well equipped kitchen .Altho not in a main area, the stables are central and it was easy to drive around the castle trail.Would have enjoyed a longer stay !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Stables. Teresa could not have been more helpful in attending to our needs and answered every query in the run up to our stay speedily. The apartment was great, with everything you could need and the setting is fabulous. highly recommended!

It took us about 45 minutes to find the stables. It was dark and we did not know the area at all. Could have planned the trip a little better and it wouldnt have been as bad. Once we found the place, it was definetely worth the hassle. Gorgeous area and rooms. A piece of history made available to the common person. Highly recommended.

One of my most favorite memories of Scotland was staying on the grounds of a castle! After eating in restaurants the first 5 days of our holiday, it was a delight to have this romantic getaway to cook our own meals in a full kitchen equipped with everything we needed!

A quiet retreat that allowed us to access the Cairn Gorms, Dee Valley (Banchory, Balmoral, Braemar) and Mearns coast. Several gentle to moderate walks available without the need to travel.

We loved the Castle Stables, it had everything we needed and was very well decorated. Our only issue was that it was slightly too far from Stonehaven and on a very wet October half term, this made my husband's nightly trips for takeaway quite an adventure!

As we drove up to the Stables, I was delighted by what I saw in front of me. Parking was easy and close. As we opened the door we were very surprised by what we found. A warm and inviting place. The rooms were all decorated and furnished to high standards, and the kitchen facilities had everything you could want for a holiday let. We only got to stay two night, but we have promised to return.
