I never normally write a review for anything, but i felt like i really had to with Seacote house. Its hard writing such a brill review when you know it might make it difficult to get the property again at another time, but i really must!
The house was perfect, the greeting was perfect, the location was perfect. Everything was perfect. Right down to Sky TV, Internet, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Everything you might need to make it the best holiday cottage for a stay on the Island. I would highly recommend this house to all my friends and family. One tip though, the downstairs shower is more powerful that the ones upstairs. This proves my point. Even if the shower upstairs is not so powerful (but perfectly adequate)...it doesnt matter because there is another one which is brill!
Outstanding. :)Response from Graham - 05/19/2013

Hi Gina, many thanks for your kind review and my apologies for not meeting you, I was in Edinburgh for the weekend. Rachel though seems to have done a good job and I will make sure to pass your comments on to her. Best Regards, Graham

We didn't actually stay at Seacote, instead we were at Iolaire, one of Graham's other properties - it was awesome, by far the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in, very luxurious, with every mod con you would expect, and some you wouldn't. Cannot recommend highly enough. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and even offered us an additional night FOC as there was no booking.

StornowayExcellent wheeelchair facilities - fantastic stay!!

We stayed here over the New Year, having rented out the property before and having a fantastic time! There were eight of us staying, plenty space for us all to say the least! The House is luxuriously spacious, modern and open plan and has everything you could possibly think of! It's like being home from home with added comforts in a relaxing environment. An ideal place for families, and entertaining.
The house is so close to all local ammenities with a supermarket just round the corner and chinese takeaway, petrol station and post office within walking distance too, a very quiet peaceful setting but in easy reach and of walking distance to all local services.
But most importantly for my husband and I (who like to travel)the house is wheelchair accessable, a phrase we hear only too often when booking hotels and accomodation, only to be disappointed on arrival. This house is actually fully accessable for us. My husband is wheelchair bound which can create challenges when travelling and booking overnight stays. However, this house is perfect for us, the lower ground bedroom is spacious with an en suite wheel in wet room for showering and toilet with all the necassary hand rails. this is important for anyone with disabilities as it allows full independance, something which can prove challenging when you are misinformed of "wheelchair access". Cannot fault this house with regards to disabled access, the kitchen and living are well planned too to allow for room when menouvering in a wheelchair and the place is laid out in such a way that hubby had no excuses when it came to cooking and using the kettle!!! The car park and ramped access outside also allows for independance and easy access...
We will definately be returning for another stay, as will our friends. Excellent stay and highly reccomended, delighted once again witht the wheelchair facilities, would highly reccomemend this House to anyone requiring disabled access! -

EdinburghA great escape for all the family

We've just returned from a perfect family Christmas getaway at Seacote House, and already we're planning a return visit. The house exceeded our expectations in every department... very spacious yet cosy (gorgeous stove, comfy sofas) with luxurious modern decor throughout. I had imagined I might have to cut a few corners with Christmas dinner but the kitchen was really well-equipped with everything I needed, and the dining table was big enough for a family twice our size. A cot, high chair and stair gate were all provided as well so that helped ease our travelling circus! The kids loved the beaches, Dad loved getting on with his photography and I loved those big comfy sofas in front of the fire when the sea air had worked its magic on the little ones! Here's to a return visit in 2012!
