This is a beautiful unit with a fully stocked kitchen, great location, and every convenience you would expect.
The one thing missing is air conditioning. When you plan a vacation to Vermont, you don't normally need to consider aC, but our week was hit by a heat wave, with temps in the low 90's.
Every room was equipped with a fan, and the living room and master bedroom have ceiling fans. It definitely helped, but it wasn't enough. We sweltered for two or three nights.
I recommend this unit without hesitation for cooler times of the year, but summer travelers had better keep their fingers crossed that temperatures stay mild. -

This townhome is pretty much as it looks in the photos, which is to say pleasant and comfortable with a great location right on the Rec Path. Kitchen is well stocked and unit was very clean.
However, I had two issues with the advertising.
1) it isn't what I would consider "pet friendly" since I was informed only tiny dogs are allowed. Be sure to ask before you book.
2) It is advertised as a 3 bedroom but one of the bedrooms was locked off when we arrived. We didn't actually need the 3rd BR, but I felt that should have been disclosed up front.
Overall, it was a good value. -

we loved this house. location was great, perfect for 6 adults and a dog. we had the fireplace going the whole time. we had a great trail next to the yard and were in walking distance to shops+restaurants, and the main road.
i was surprised that it was a townhouse when we arrived, since i didnt recall seeing that in the description - but that was just fine. I would totally rent this house again and will definitely rent from stowe country homes again!! they do a great job of stocking the houses and the concierge service is great.
