New HampshireA condo treasure in the woods
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Rented Four Seasons #1 for the MLK weekend which was a recommendation from Stowe Country Homes (Jeanette).
A great condo, nestled in the woods but close to everything that Stowe has to offer.
The condo was an end unit, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & stocked with everything a family needs. Out the front door was the Stowe Recreation Trail which was by far my favorite. -

Other than the outdated restaurant name on the directions, which caused us to miss the original driveway, this place was very nice and quiet for our Pre-Holiday ski weekend. It certainly helped that there was fresh snow and the mountain was great... We woke up Saturday to a powder day and enjoyed a surprisingly quiet holiday weekend at Stowe...

MassachusettsComfortable and Quiet
Left on 11/30/2010 for a stay in November 2010
After several years of just taking day trips on our vacations we decided after a busy work season to get away from everything familiar this year. We purposely chose an off season week to relax. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon we felt instantly at home. The condo was clean, comfortable and the location quiet. Special thanks to Nancy who endured several phone calls and emails prior to our trip. Fortunately we needed no assistance once we arrived. We highly recommend Stowe Country Homes and Four Seasons #1.

We have stayed at Four Season's #1 several times over the past few years and love it. The location is terrific as it's right on the bike path. The place is clean...nice to have the pool right outside and the neighbors are very friendly. Overall, a great place to stay!

The property was well kept and had everything anyone would need. Stowe is a wonderful town and the proximity to downhill and xc skiing helped us enjoy our short stay.

New JerseyEverything in one place
Left on 01/12/2010 for a stay in August 2009
We really enjoyed being at the Four Seasons #1. Whether it was being close to the bike path, which we used every day, or to the other Stowe attractions.
This was our first time staying in a rental unit like this, but it was exactly what we needed. Clean, well furnished and well located.
And our dog had a great time too. She loved the sprawling back lawn.
Finally, we appreciated the flexibility of the Stowe Country Homes staff. They helped us reschedule our visit twice, and we were able to check in and out on a weekday. This made getting to and from Stowe much easier for us. -

washington dcWonderful short stay in Stowe

We wanted to find a place close to the center of town that could accomodate 5 people and cost us less than $500 per night. We were lucky to find Four Seasons #1 in early December, when many of the places were already booked up. Four Seasons #1 is about a mile away from town and accomodates 4 easily and up to 6 if the downstairs sofa is coverted into a bed.
We loved the accomodation. It was clean, very comfortable, everything you need was provided for. The space was very tastefully decorated, but also practical (as we were marching in and out with snowboots). There is a room upstairs with a Queen(or maybe full) bed and another room with two twin beds. And the living room space with the pull out sofa. The living room has a lovely fireplace that we used. It also housed a large flat screen tv and we watched movies in the evening. The kitchen is great, fully stocked (including spices and lots of other dry items, including pots, pans, silverware, glasses, plates etc). The yard outside is quite spaceous and we had fun building a snow-man during our stay.
Overall we loved our mini-vacation. Next year we have decided we'll have to return, but add 2-3 days! Highly Recommended...
