What Past Guests Are Saying
Great value accommodation in a peaceful, easy to reach location
We used Leys Farmhouse annexe as a base, both for work and leisure over a period of a few weeks in the summer and autumn of 2012. Heather was very helpful in accommodating us, often arranging for us to stay at very short notice. The property is spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay at the annexe if in the area again.
Cosy accommodation, nice swimming-pool experience for kids
Small but very well equipped annex of a villa, in peaceful surroundings but quite a distance from the main amenities - a car is essential. The landlady is so forthcoming. We were lucky enough to have superb weather throughout our stay and the kids enjoyed the pool and bouncing castle. Very good value for money.

Very comfortable in lovely surroundings!
Really comfortable accommodation in a farmhouse annexe set in pretty countryside, but close enough to all the "tourist" places listed in the Suffolk area. We loved Southwold, Framlingham and Orford Castles,
Thorpeness and Lavenham. We just didn't have time to explore the Rspb Nature Reserve at Minsmere, which looks as if it has some great walks.
Our all too short stay convinced us of one thing - we will return to Suffolk and we would most definitely choose to stay at Leys Farmhouse annexe.
A typically romantic British setting for a quiet get away.
Our hosts were just divine and the premises were spotless.
The bedroom was set up with everything a couple would need to complete a romantic weekend. The style of the architecture was fitting with our perception of ye old England and very pleasant. Our stay of 2 days was extremely rememberable and we will cherish the time as well as the way we were treated. We were treated like family from the very first day. Better hosts, you will not find.
We would certainly suggest that anyone who stays at Leys Farmhouse, will not be disappointed.
We wish that we were not so far away because we would dearly love to visit the area again. Australia is our home but the hosts at Leys Farmhouse made it difficult for us go back home after being treated like royalty.
Perfect in every detail
We stayed at this cosy property over the Jubilee weekend and had a wonderful time. The owners have really done a great job! It is spotlessly clean and perfect for relaxing. There are instructions for all appliances and heating etc., as well as a comprehensive welcome pack. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen offers everything you need on a self catering break. The owners also kindly provided 2 bottles of wine as a welcome gift.
The best bit however was the little rabbit that visited the garden every night.
I can only recommend this place -one of the best I have stayed in.
Outstanding value and comfort
My husband and I have just returned from a two night break at this property and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others. The attention to detail is second to none - we appreciated the comprehensive guide to the property, the information about the local area, books, dvd's, well stocked kitchen, and little things like a torch and an umbrella! We were surprised at the spaciousness of the annexe which is accessed by a narrow frontage. There was plenty of room to spread out and it is particularly designed for anyone with limited mobility. As we stayed in January, we weren't able to benefit from the lovely secluded garden which overlooks a duckpond. We would love to go back.

A peaceful and relaxing location
My wife and I spent a short winter break in the annexe at Leys Farmhouse and found it a very peaceful and relaxing location.
Every convenience was catered for in the accommodation with great attention to detail.
We would thoroughly recommend it
Suffolk is a hidden gem
Very good base for touring around the county and also plenty of footpaths for casual walks around the accomadation.
The cottage has easy parking and just nicely away from the main roads. Only hiccup is the bedroom is a bit small for a double bed and space is tight when organizing your clothes so for a disabled person it could be difficult. The walk in shower is very good.
A restful stay in a peaceful country setting
I loved the quiet secluded location, spacious accommodation and generous provision of every comfort in this well appointed annexe. The hosts were kind, considerate and extremely helpful. I wish my stay had been in the summer to take better advantage of the lovely garden and swimming pool!
The location was very peacefull and the accommodation very good.
Unfortunately, my wife developed 'flu' during our stay and we had to leave a day early. The owner very kindly gave us a rebate.
