Welcome to 4 College Lane, Old Town, Stratford-Upon-Avon. If you are planning a holiday or short break in this lovely town then this cottage is an ideal choice. The location is perfect as you are only 3 minutes walk from Holy Trinity church, Shakepeare's burial place; 5 minutes to all of the Royal Shakespeare Society theaters and a 7 minute walk to the center of town. The train station is an easy 10 minute walk if not traveling by car. The cottage offers a parking permit (with a refundable deposit) and street parking is always available. Check in time is 3.pm on day of arrival. Check out time 10.30am.

This beautifully restored, bright a...nd welcoming cottage is immaculately clean and offers a high level of comfort and accomodation. The cottage has wooden and tile floors downstairs. The sitting room is furnished with a sleeper couch and two leather chairs and there is a large flat screen television and a dvd player. All furnishings were new in August 2012. The cottage is centrally heated but there is a real flame gas fire for added coziness.

Leading from the sitting room is the open plan dining room and modern fitted kitchen with a door leading to a small walled garden complete with small bench, table and chairs. The dining room has a real working fire and a table with seating for six. The kitchen offers every convenience; gas stove, oven, dishwasher, refridgerator, washing machine, microwave, electric kettel, toaster and coffee maker. It is equipped with everything you will need for eating, drinking and entertaining. Also provided is tea, coffee (instant and ground), sugar, salt, pepper, herbs and spices, olive oil and vinegar. A welcome pack of bread, milk, biscuits and wine will be provided upon your arrival.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a modern newly updated bathroom with shower and comfortable bath. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, soap, towels and toiletries if needed.

The front bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and table lamps. There is also a flat screen television with built in DVD player. Hair dryer, clothes iron and ironing board are provided as well as electrical socket adapters.

The rear bedroom has two single beds which can be pushed together for couples or seperated. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawres and bedside lamp. All mattresses and bedding are new as of August 2012.Read more

This property is located within a few minutes walk from the RSC theaters and downtown Stratford. It is also an easy walk to the banks of the river Avon where row boats and small power boats can be rented for a leisurely afternoon on the water.

Stratford-Upon-Avon is centrally located in the Midlands region of England and is a short drive north of the famous Cotswolds district. It is also a short drive from such famous sites as Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Charlecote House.

- 50 GBP refundable deposit required for keys and car parking permit.
- Deposit : 50% of total cost is required to confirm the reservation payable by Bank Transfer, bank cheque or Paypal.
- Balance: payable 4 weeks before arrival.
- Cancellation: More than 14 days prior to rental, the deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellation: Less than 14 days prior to rental, the total cost will be charged in full unless the apartment is relet.
- No charge for small breakages.
Check in time 3.pm check out time 10.30.am unless special requests made and confirmed.
Please leave house in same condition as you find it with rubbish placed in outside rubbish bin. Lost keys, remote controls, breakages or damage will be charged at replacement cost.

  My teenage girls and I stayed in 4 College Lane for 8 nights which was far too short a time to enjoy both the property and Stratford Upon avon. 4 Collage Lane has a really lovely feel to it. Recently renovated to a very high standard it contain's a beautiful bathroom, super comfy beds, quality linen and towels and a fantastic kitchen that had everything a kitchen should have, and it was all in as new condition. It's position is just perfect. Very close to the action but far enough away to be quiet at night. A 10 minute walk has you in the centre of the shopping area which is full of restaurant's and pubs as well as really super shops, or on the bank's of the river where you can enjoy a lovely stroll, a boat ride, or maybe take in a show at the Royal Shakespear Theatre. The ladies looking after the property were absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. One phone call and someone was there to help you within 10 minutes. I know this because we had a small problem turning on the hot water when we first arrived. As we had a rental car we payed the land lady a 50 pound bond for a parking permit. We always found parking practically right outside the flat and upon returning the permit to her when we checked out, received our 50 pound bond back, no problem at all. I could not fault this property and intend to stay there again should we return to Stratford.

  Lovely, clean, convenient - would love to stay again

  Stayed here in October with my husband along with my daughter & her boyfriend.We were joined by my son & his 2 small children for 2 days to celebrate my birthday. I have never written a review before, which is probably why it has taken me so long to get round to it! However, we enjoyed our stay so much that I felt the need to write a review.
  
  The cottage coped extremely well with our stay and we utilised the bed settee and a travel cot for the extra days my son & grandchildren stayed over. The location was extremely central and we were able to walk into town, frequent restaurants and follow river walks wihout the use of the car which was a nice break. We travelled to an exhibition at the NEC one day which only took 35 mins and were able to park our car directly outside the cottage on our return, as we had for the remainder of our stay, using a parking permit provided by the owner.
  
  The cottage was well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable (and I am fussy!). A lovely touch was to be greeted with some flowers, chocolates and a card, wishing me a Happy Birthday. Thank you Karen, Andrew & Kary for your hospitality - we would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone looking to stay in Stratford on avon.

  Located a short stroll though parks to the RSC and Stratford center, this cottage is ideally situated for exploring the history of the town. The Bard is buried in the church at the bottom of the road. Inside, it has been beautifully renovated to the very highest standards, the photos and description are spot on. The welcome and local information given was excellent. The back yard, although small, is ideal fo those travelling with pets with high brick walls. Outside the area is quiet and the house is a few minutes from a pub with restaurant . We will be returning next year.

  Property is exactly as described. Very clean, very well equipped and presented.
  Comfortable lounge, with good kitchen/diner and 2 good bedrooms and excellent bathroom.
  Parking permit available allowing parking right outside the door.
  Located around a 5-10 minute walk to the main shopping area and less than 5 minutes to the nearest pub and restaurants.
  Would thoroughly recommend this property.

  A great place to stay. cleanliness and comfort were all excellent. Well equipped for our needs. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. It is only some five minutes walk to town centre and also rs theatre. Very convenient! We have booked to return next year!
