Close to the centre of this picturesque spa village, renowned for its interesting architecture, the grounds have delightful views to surrounding hills and the imposing height of Ben Wyvis. Visitors can enjoy a challenging golf course, river and loch fishing, or many pleasant country walks. Strathpeffer is also an excellent base for exploring the nearby Black Isle, the majestic mountains of Glen Affric, or the magnificent North West Highlands.

Comfortable, spacious accommodation in a Victorian mews behind an imposing villa. Friendly and helpful owner.
This is the second time we have used Mackays as a booking agent. They were fine first time round, but this time we were very disappointed to see that they charged us for some mickey-mouse travel insurance that we hadn't asked for (some kind of "delete option"?
Given all the recent press about mis-selling of financial products, and the general body of opinion around the banks, etc, I find it beyond belief that Mackays are still engaging in this archaic practice! Mackays, read my lips; I wouldn't buy my meat in a greengrocers, and I'm not going to buy my insurance from an accommodation bureau. And don't even try to use the "but you could have said No" excuse!

This property suited my partner and myself well, we took our dog with us ( as always ) and found a pleasant walk nearby and the property was very peaceful. It was very much an old fashioned Scottish house, which is what we like, but may not suit those wanting luxury accomodation.
