The apartment is located on the third floor of a 1960s local walk-up apartment building in the incorporated village of Binda - only a 5 minute drive or 15 minutes by foot from the center of Stresa. The location is quiet and away from traffic. The apartment overlooks greenery (as well as the zoo/botanical garden) and the lake and mountains. There is parking right next to the building (one spot) as well as up the road within 5 minutes. There is a bicycle room that can also accomodate strollers as well on the ground floor.

Loved the apartment.
We were just outside of Stresa, on the hill with great views.
The place was clean, and a good space for the 6 of us and good value for the money.
Simply put, the apartment met all of our needs. -

This is a slightly 'worn' large apartment in a residential block high on the hill overlooking Lake Maggiore. It was clean and spacious with a excellent balcony.
The owner does not live in the area and the property is looked after by a Spanish/Italian speaking neighbour. Maintenance, preparation etc can be a bit hit and miss. The owner is helpful if contacted by phone. The neighbours (and at least one dog) can be noisy.
Despite this, it is a great location but does involve a long and strenuous walk up from the town (allow 20-25 mins). Fine if you have a car.
A gfair price performer, especially for large group, several families or family with kids. -

Due to stay for 6 nights...Very basic accommodation located high up in stresa. We refused to stay here and got a partial refund (was refunded 640 euros, was promised 660, had paid 800 +90 euros for cleaning and linen) due to it being promoted as a holiday let. It is above a noisy family who woke us all up at 12 am midnight, with loud music and shouting until 2.30 am. The road surrounding it is decayed. No lifts, barking dogs left stray running out of the apartment block, it was arriving at a back street location where lowly paid people would live permanently. The apartment was very basic, if you like roughing it for nearly 1,000 euros for one week, pick this. The kitchen was filthy, mould on filthy chopping board, every saucepan has burned bases, no coating, didnt risk cooking here. Fridge not working... 40 degree heat no fans/air con. 1960's bedding, washed out and tired. We came on holiday to relax and when you pay this sort of money expect a certain standard, previous reviews looked good, very misleading.
Luckily we managed to book into a hotel in stresa that was beautifully clean and quiet. The One night here cost us 160 euros plus 50 euro cleaning and 40 euro for bed linen and towels, which meant we paid 250 euro for one night. We paid 180euro at a 4* hotel including breakfast.
I would not recommend this to apartment to anyone. I think the owners have bought this cheaply and spent nothing on this to improve it.
I have booked apartments for 25 years this is the worst experience in all the years. We are not fussy people, we just wanted a relaxing holiday home, this is none of these things. -

The apartment has a great view of the lake and the alps- from both the living room as well as one the the bedrooms. We have all our meals on the balcony and enjoy the view.
Stresa is a charming romantic place with many good restaurants where we got delicious italian food and vine and had a great time.
We recommend you to drive there or to take o taxi, because it is a little bit difficult to walk from the railway. -

A large, roomy apartment with a delightful balcony offering sweeping views of Lago Maggiore. We loved staying in a neighborhood, only a few minutes by car from the charming village below. Peaceful and quiet.

A wonderful get-away just a short drive from Geneva along a most scenic route.
The apartment was neat and had a fabulous view of the lake. We spent most mornings and late evenings just enjoying being together there.
The area of Stressa is close to many attactions, including a cruise to the mansions on islands in the Lake. There is delicious dining as well as quick tasty pizzas, whatever your budget and schedule.
We would definitely plan to return. -

Just a short drive from Geneva and you arrive at a wonderful paradise location. The apartment rental comfortably housed my husband and I and three teenage kids. But the best part was the balcony where we spent most of our time, having breakfast, reading, enjoying leisurely dinners.
The apartment is in a prime location, next to great restaurants and to a ferry that takes you on tours of the lake's island villas. A short drive along the lake brings you to wonderful beaches.
Bring a map to find the apartment and arrive early to enjoy the view. -

My friend & I arrived in Stresa late at night . We were greeted & helped to the apartment with Gabriel , the caretaker, he was super helpful & nice .
We woke up the next morning to the amazing & breath taking view of the huge cloudy lake in front of us , the sound of a small river somewhere close by , made the picture perfect .
The apartment was spotless , clean and had everything for a grate vacation - appliances , dishes , beautiful furnishing and all the way to maps and recommendations for things to do , visit & see in the area ect.
I really recommend renting this wonderful apartment -

Stresa is a charming romantic place with many good restaurants where we got delicious italian food and vine and had a good time.
After dinner we walked back and enjoyed the great view of the balcony with the lights around the Lago and the stars. It's also very quiet. We plan to spend there more holidays.
The apartment is nicely furnished and well equiped and we felt very comfortable. With two bathrooms it's ideal for more people or a family.
There is a lot to do around Stresa. It's not far from Milano, we took a boat on the Lago to the islands, or we went hiking. We spent had a wonderful time. -

We very much enjoyed our time at Casa Bellavista. The
view from the balcony was fantastic - even on a
stormy day. We ended up spending many evenings
outside on the balcony, enjoying our wine and the
view in front of us. The apartment is in a quiet
location just outside of Stresa and was an excellent
starting point for many outings in the Lake Region.
Everything in the apartment is new and it is very
well equipped. We plan to go back next year as we
really liked the apartment and what it offered. -

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub direkt am/über dem Lago Maggiore mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf den See und die Berge.
