Modern apartment in Stresa with large terrace and a sweeping view over Lake Maggiore and Isola Bella, Italy.

This luxury holiday apartment comfortably accommodates 4 to 6 people in two en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom is entered via sliding doors from the living room and includes a Jacuzzi bathtub. The spacious second bedroom has two single beds, with space for the addition of two small camp beds for children, and a bathroom with shower. The bright living room has been stylishly furnished with leather couches and designer glass table. The kitchen area is fitted with all modern equipment (dishwasher, microwave). Satellite TV and wi...reless internet access available.

Large glass sliding doors give access to the spacious terrace and balcony with outdoor furniture, where you can lie back and relax in the sun loungers, or enjoy the panoramic views whilst dining 'al fresco'.

This vacation apartment forms part of a house situated in a private residential park alongside the lake, offering great views of Isola Bella and Lake Maggiore. The green and tranquil park, with a small river running through it, offers many shady areas to cool off during the warm summer days. The house is a 200m walk/drive uphill inside the park from the lakeside road.

This is a great holiday destination; directly by the lake, within walking distance from the cable car (500m) which whisks you up the Mottarone mountain, and only approximately 1km from the bustling town centre of Stresa. Stresa makes a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of Lago Maggiore: hop on any ferry to discover the magic of the Borromeo Islands, the fascinating villas along the shore, the Piedmont towns of Arona and Intra and the picturesque town of Laveno nestled on the other side of the lake in Lombardy. You can even take a full-day boat tour all the way up the lake to Switzerland (Ascona and Locarno). - It's a 200m walk/drive uphill inside the residential private park from the lakeside road to the apartment. It is possible to walk but a car is recommended because it’s going uphill. From the residence at the lakeside road towards the Carciano ferry station/ Mottarone cable car: 500m. To the center of Stresa: 1,2 km (train station or beginning of Corso Umberto).

  This appartment has a view to die for. Each morming I had my breakfast on the balcony overlooking the island of Isa Bella. It was magical. The bottle of welcoming champagne was most welcome after a 28 hour plane/train trip from Melbourne. They even picked us up from the train and delivered us back to the station. My wife and I and our son and his wife and our new grand-daughter had a stress free week in this lovely appartment.
