Honolulu, HawaiiA Wonderful House and area
Left on 10/05/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed here for a week in Sept and loved it! The rental was as shown in pictures and described on the website. The property management was responsive and accommodating. The house was clean, open/airy, and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, small appliances, and utensil which made cooking and eating for the six of us really easy and fun. The washer and dryer came in very handy. The Fall Colors were great and we were able to view trees from every window/skylight in the house which added to our stay. We took advantage of the row boat and enjoyed several hours on Streeter Pond. The whole area is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful in the Fall. We would definitely return if and when we had the opportunity.

Dudley, MACan't wait to go back
Left on 11/30/2011 for a stay in November 2011
What a great getaway! With 3 floors to the house, there was plenty of room for everyone to sneak those awesome vacation solo moments and then come back together. The location was ideal. Some of us went skiing, some hiking and others just relaxed the whole time! Gathering around at the end of the day to make dinner with the wood stove going was the highlight. We will be back soon...hopefully for longer.

ConnecticutPerfect Getaway

The Chalet on Streeter Pond was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I spent four days there and had a few friends join us. The house is gorgeous, especially the living area and the kitchen (my favorite part of course). Extremely roomy with large vaulted wood ceilings, and a very modern spacious kitchen that is beautiful. The rooms were great also, we had a small fireplace in ours that was a nice treat.
We also spent a lot of time in the basement, there is a pool table and games, it doesn't feel like a basement at all but a game room.
The area is very beautiful and I highly recommend going to the local family restaurant for breakfast -- they make fantastic pancakes and omelets!
I love this place, and am planning on spending a couple weekends there this year. You definitely want reserve a few months in advance. I tried to book a weekend for this spring but the date was already taken.

Boston, MABest way to spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!
Left on 05/23/2010 for a stay in January 2009
The house was spacious and very well laid out. More
than enough room for our group to have private
space for quiet moments, but also really open and
inviting when we were playing board games, cooking
and eating.
The house is well cared for and offers all the amenities you would expect in a rental home. The
kitchen is large and easy to find your way around,
which (at least for me) is one of the things that
matter most.
I highly recommend this house for a relaxing and
fun week or weekend stay. -

Brookline, MAFantastic week-long or long week-end stay
Left on 05/20/2010 for a stay in September 2008
I love that place. It's huge, tastily furnished, modern and convinient. Its location
is ideal, just near the lake. You won't get bored there unless you just want to
cozy up near a fire and read, there are many outdoor activities around. Great for
summer, winter and seasons in between.
The only reason I'd hesitate to recommend it is so it doesn't fill up completely
and I can't go anymore :) -

Boston, MAWhat a WOW factor
Left on 05/20/2010 for a stay in February 2010
I stayed at streeterpond back in Feb of 2010. What a wonderful time to be up in the mountains of Franconia Notch and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This house is located off the path a bit which is perfect for someone that would like to get away from the hussle of a busy life. Overlooking the pond, this house has teriffic views all around. Nothing beats waking up with a fresh coffee and sitting outside listening to nature. The house was in immaculate shape when I arrived for our stay, everything was clean and orderly. Cannon Mountain is within a 5 minute drive or Loon / Bretton Woods is about 30-40 for those interested in skiing/snowboarding. Many little things were already at the house which made it very convenient for us. The little grocery store is right in the middle of town, or you can travel up Route 93 for another few exits and go to the Walmart or other major grocery store for things. Overall I plan on staying at this house again in the upcoming winter. I might try and get a little time off to spend it up there this summer as well.

CTRelaxing getaway!
Left on 05/19/2010 for a stay in January 2010
I stayed at this home with a group of friends. It accomodated all of us comfortably....with room for us all to have breakfast together at the table, as well as space to spend time alone, reading or relaxing on the couch! The common rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the decor is SO rustic New Hampshire! In fact, we loved the home so much that half of us never even went outside!!! Of course, the other half of the group enjoyed the excellent skiing, right close by. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation...and look forward to renting again, this time in the summer months!
