It's a modern house, I wouldn't call it a cabin. Its a nice place to stay, but there'sbankplus. The house itself had no issues, but they rooms were a bit dirty. I couldn't stand the huge cobwebs in the corners of the bedroom.
Hot water is scarce also, we had a full house, only two people could take hot showers with hot water. They have a limited amount of cookware, I would suggest you bring everything you think you'd need to use.

This is a nice little cabin with a lot of space which is perfect for 3 small families or group of friends.Everything was working fine.Check in was so easier and the price was reasonable for amminties. There are some drawbacks too. There was no wifi in the cabin. The bedding were not properly cleaned. The bedding was not great.Luckily we brought our own sheets and blankets. The sheets of the beds were dirty. There should be a twin bed in the 3rd room instead of the futon bed.Only one room was furnished and prepped correctly and satisfactorily.

My Big Bear Cabin Experience

Upon arrival to the cabin, everything looked good. It was so easy to access the key and go inside. The inside looked very good, clean and spacious. It is a well taken care of place with access to almost everything and anything a house/cabin can have and offer. But yet there were a few things that could have been taken care of and would have made it all a better experience. 1)The barbecue grill was old, small, dirty and not working properly, we had to grill on a makeshift ground fire pit. 2)There is only one television in the whole place, the living room, so we had to take turns and share the tv for programs. 3)There was a internet router but we were unable to use it and with a bad signal up in the area we had no access to our email accounts or internet surfing out of our phones, computers and devices. 4) Two of the rooms were a bit too small, especially the one that I slept in that has a futon bed that was very uncomfortable so I decided to sleep on the floor instead. 5) The central air conditioner was not working properly and would not cool down the cabin and it was hot, luckily there was a fan available, but again we had to take turns using it since there was only one. 6) The water was cold except for the first 2 persons that took a shower first, after that everyone else got nothing but cold water for a morning shower. The area, place is pretty good as it is about a 2 mile walk up to the hiking trails, but because of those 6 topics it made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully they make a few changes on some of the bad topics so that the next person renting it can have a more comfortable stay.

This was actually the second time in two years staying in this cabin. The cabin is spacious, very clean, and everything is in perfect working condition (as opposed to many other cabins i've stayed at in the past). With a group of ten, we had more than enough room in the cabin to comfortably enjoy ourselves. Very reasonably priced, can't ask for anything more.
