Left on 04/02/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The home and pool were clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Kitchen is simply furnished and could use a variety of serving dishes and sharp knives. You will need to purchase paper products and basics. Local store is very expensive.The ambiance of the home is fairly sterile, much like a model home,(except for the ground floor, which is a lovely extra bedroom and sitting area which is very charming. The only negative is that there is home construction happening on the other side of canal and it is extremely noisy during the day. This is where the pool and deck are,(jacuzzi is not very warm) so be ready for a day at the pool with power tools. Hopefully they will be finished with construction soon. House is located in neighborhood with no real view except canal and other homes. Rental agents are friendy and helpful
There is a great bakery a few blocks away as well as excellent local restaurants, Sugarloaf Food Company/Bakery and Wharf Bar and Grill were some of our favorites.
